@KannikaP What is your question? Flyby11 is the old deprecated version. It just handles the upgrade. Fly(OutOfBoxExperience) handles...you've got it, the upgrade and the Out Of Box Experience, allowing you to customise your install.

My question was Flyby11 or Flyoob. How would I , or any other normal user know.

But thanks for the explanation.

I have got to the de-bloat section, but only Microsoft programs appear. How do I know which to un-install please

  • This is the video I used. My advice is to call it up on another LT/PC so you are free to do the job on the target machine, as the lady talks a bit fast, but it is straight forward....☺️

  • Mess up computer threads @transam? A bit egotistical methinks. I've certainly added value to your thread by actually explaining things to people, rather than just posting a video and patting myself on

  • New there are clips all over YouTube how to change the settings so any computer even a potato can run 11 if you wanted to.

@KannikaP They would know by clicking on the link and reading the material there. Which is self explanatory, nothwithstanding that I already explained it when I posted the links in the first place.

I cannot see your screen via any Screenshots and to be honest, I don't much like your behaviour in general, so I won't be helping you further.

No need for you to reply. I'd prefer to not use the Ignore function.

First, I want to say that I like the video and really appreciate the help. However, this video refers to the Windows 11 Pro 24H2 version, which, by definition, has a two-year service lifetime. It’s also likely that this version cannot be upgraded automatically on unsupported hardware — you’ll need to perform the upgrade to the next major version (25H2) manually.

In effect, following this video gives you only about one year of service, until October 2026. That’s fine, but not much.

With a bit of extra effort, you can instead download the October release of Windows 11 Enterprise 25H2, which has a three-year service lifetime — one year longer than the Pro version — and will receive updates until October 2028. Just saying!

I followed Transam's video and the installation does update to the current version.

You are very observant Jake. I DID NOT post any screenshot.

Your comment on my ''behaviour'' is most confusing as I have only asked simple questions.

This will be my only reply.

Simply install the latest Updates and soon you will be offered the Enablement Package. Choose to install it. Done.

No difference between Supported Hardware and Unsupported Hardware in this case.

I had to manually update from 22H2 to 24H2 as I was not offered the enablement package, maybe because the 3 computers I use are all unsupported.

Maybe I will get the package from 24H2 to 25H2, but when????

Hey @elfpattaya People who downloaded the Microsoft image after the 14th of October, were more likely to obtain the latest image with 25H2 enabled. Before that, 24H2.

25H2 will come to the latter via WIndows Updates in due course. 24H2 already has the features of 25H2, though just not activated. KB5054156 is the Enablement Package that activates those 'features'.

@KannikaP I have a long memory...

Come on , enlighten me as to what you remember about my posts, and from when.

@KannikaP Be a man of your word. It was your last reply. A leopard cannot change it's spots. I'm not interested in conversing with you, ever again. Some lines you don't cross, as a man.

This thread is about Windows 11. Desist.

I found the video self explanatory, no need for elaboration.

Unfortunately, you always go off on a tangent to put down members with your narcissistic attitude, shame really.........🤕

Windows 11, That's nice.
