How is this helping the average American?

 

Presenting the “Make America Great Again” foreign tour! Nothing screams America First like flying halfway around the world to chase a photo-op while your own government is shut down and cities are, by his own account, “war zones.”
 

It’s the geopolitical equivalent of letting your house burn while you run next door to repaint someone else’s porch: heroic optics, zero substance.
 

If this is “making America great again,” it’s doing so entirely off-shore.

You mean the shutdown caused by the opposing party and the war zones promoted by the other party.

I don't think we're going to see Trump saving any babies. Historically speaking, he'd more likely say he'll be dating the baby in the future.

They also continue to hold hostages bodies. IMO this is some sort of deranged attempt at more bagaining gains. Hamas are Islamist terrorists. They want to come out of this somehow looking like victors over big satan the USA and little satan Israel.

They'll be back at it (fighting) before next summer.  

It's a sucker's ploy, they've run it on nearly every POTUS since Nixon.
