More B.S from the Bangkok Post and foreigners going crazy in Phuket from weed. Funny never any mention about booze.

This was probably due to the type of terpene that was in the flower you smoked.

Fascinating stuff, thanks. How do you know what level of terpene was in the flower that eventually yielded the bag of dope you're buying? I guess you can't and it's a case of lucky (or unlucky) dip, depending on your unique reaction to it?

Is this one of the markers where someone may decide it's 'bad' weed and avoid it based on their unique reaction? Whereas someone with different sensitivities may have a different reaction and opinion?

Can you elaborate on this if you are willing to.

Late 70's and early 80's, oil field trash with more money than sense, riding the ragged edge when beer, whiskey and weed was getting too dull for them. They experimented with heroin and I remember them mostly spending hours and days in their darkened rooms while we were out drinking and partying. Graduating from smoking to shooting up, one guy ran out of veins and ended up close to losing his swollen and bruised legs due to pretty bad infections. He went home, got cleaned, came back and started all over again but someone managed to pull him back from the brink. He settled down as a happy old alcoholic before he died.

They pretty much 'ran' in their own small circle and most of the time looked either out of it or too f****d up to even say hi.

Terpene levels can be determined by lab testing now. To your 2nd point yes. Exactly.

I think I saw Sly and the Family Stone at the Spectrum.  Or it might have been in Providence.  Memory isn't always trustworthy.  Wonder why.
