He was reportedly seen dancing and laughing upon his return.

 

Majek, who denies the charges of murder and possessing a weapon, was described as stalking Whyte, closing the distance between them at the station before the attack. Despite the defense claiming misidentification, evidence includes CCTV footage and DNA matching Whyte’s under Majek’s nails, along with her blood on his clothes.

 

Majek's actions and the brutality of the attack have raised questions about the policies surrounding asylum seekers residing in temporary accommodations. The court learned that Whyte had worked at the hotel for months, aiding in various roles, while Majek was a resident. Despite his claims of being 18 at the time, doubts about his age persist.
