'He wants to go back - send him back': Nigel Farage hits out as migrant TikToker who threatened to kill him COMPLAINS about being jailed in UK

Nigel Farage has called for the deportation of Afghan migrant Fayaz Khan, who received a five-year sentence for threatening to kill the politician. Khan, who has previous convictions in Sweden, made a chilling threat on TikTok, prompting a trial at Southwark Crown Court. Despite initially apologizing, Khan launched an expletive-laden outburst in court, expressing a desire to return to Afghanistan.

The court heard that Khan, who entered the UK illegally, threatened Farage after the politician highlighted Khan's journey from Sweden. Khan was arrested with prior convictions for violence and had entered the UK last year by small boat. During his trial, Khan claimed his social media sign-off, "pop pop pop," was a harmless gesture, though it was interpreted as a threat.

Judge Mrs. Justice Steyn highlighted the seriousness of threats against public figures, referencing attacks on MPs Jo Cox and Sir David Amess. Despite claiming the threats were not malicious, Khan was convicted of making threats to kill and entering the UK illegally. Farage has supported Khan's deportation, aligning with Home Office policies on foreign offenders.

While Khan initially participated in the trial calmly, he erupted in anger after sentencing, accusing Farage of using him for political gain. Khan's background includes previous convictions for knife possession and threatening behavior in Sweden. He had applied for asylum in the UK, citing familial ties to former Afghan president Hamid Karzai and fears of Taliban reprisal.

The court proceedings detailed Khan's controversial journey and online interactions, where he portrayed himself as an entertainer. The case underscores the tensions around immigration enforcement and the safety of public figures against threats. Khan now awaits deportation following his imprisonment.

Key Takeaways

  • Fayaz Khan sentenced for threatening Nigel Farage, prompting calls for deportation.
  • Khan had a history of violence in Sweden and entered the UK illegally.
  • The case highlights ongoing concerns about threats to public figures and immigration issues.

Should have become a Labour councilor like Ricky Jones, he'd have got off scot free.

Not much point. He'd just jump on another dinghy and he'd be in a 5 star hotel working for Deliveroo before you could say Allahu Akbar.

Agreed, unless the ECHR gets involved of course, then he will be staying in the UK?

The hypocrisy here is so stark.

The far right are rightfully gleeful that this dangerous thug got 5 years for tacitly threatening to kill one person yet they show sympathy for a person who was jailed for inciting far right thugs to burn places of worship and accommodation housing hundreds of terrified humans. In fact, the far right idolised this person at a Reform rally.

”Hurty words” is always woven into a bigot’s defense of incitement to mass murder.
