Where I live several Israeli families have moved in the past few months.  They all know each other and home school their kids.  They do not appear to work here they are always at their residences. They are ok as neighbors say Hello and smile,  except they do not seem to discipline their kids very well.

exactly the same in my neighborhood.  Plus all the weed smoking from the parent of small children???

Indeed. My first FMP was prior to that. Now show videos since then.

I can read @Nick Carter icp and you can understand that early '90's can be before 1993. So there is no confusion, is there?

I cannot change the date of my first FMP to suit you. We are going to have to stick with reality here. Now post later videos to disprove or confirm my statement.

At no point did I state that no one was taking anything, but most of what they were taking was weed or from the local pharmacy.

That obviously changed.

You chose to post a video of your own volition, runaround boy. If you've suddenly decided that you don't want to play that game anymore, that's okay by me. Dismissed!

Somewhat petulant and quite unnecessary, wouldn't you say?

Thirteen countries do not accept Israeli passports: Algeria, Bangladesh, Brunei, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Yemen.

Do you notice what all these countries have in common? Now, how could Thailand possibly belong on that list?

Well, look at it another way. I - and I'm pretty sure hundreds of thousands of others if not more - will never set foot in Israel (not by choice) and will never spend any money at/for any of their companies or products. The fact that the Thai restaurants and merchants don't want their tourist money (in poor economic times) is not racist or discriminantory - it's the simple fact these people are not wanted here nor their money. Think about how pushy other tourists can be - Russians, Chinese, Indian, Westerners.. but no one is banning them from Thai establishments. So what does that tell you??

I was on Koh Phangan a few times 1987-88 and there was no Full Moon Party. Although I seem to remember someone may have set off the idea with the owners of Paradise Bungalows (I think that was the name - at the top end of HaadRin).

At that time the locals were having some problems with the Rajneesh who seemed to have taken over large parts and wanted to fence it off.

Isn't just three shops in the whole of Thailand who have sked for no Israelis ?

Its not as if Israelis have been banned from every shop in Thailand

While that is indeed very regrettable, at least Norwegians, and Scandis generally, are not known to engage in criminal activity and drug excesses in Thailand.

It's a bit different with Israelis.

To be honest, Norway and Norwegian is in most cases and scenarios better off than most countries and people in the world, even not perfect for everyone, but still very should complain for what we have become in comparison.

In Europe pretty much the further north you go, the more honest, trustworthy and reliable people are, that applies across the board with Swedish, Fins and Norwegians, maybe not so much with Danes who are a bit sly.

But either way, neither have distinguished themselves with major crime issues in Thailand. Russians and Israelis are completely different in this regard.

You are full of fantasies. The reality is - the Thais don’t really care about Israelis (both in positive or negative ways).
It’s worth noting that the Thais themselves have had a far from positive experience dealing with Islamist insurgents and Islamic terrorism. Unlike some idealistic European activists, they have a clear understanding of who the Israelis are dealing with on a daily basis. That said, the Thai people are extremely tolerant and have so far managed to avoid a large conflict with their Muslim population.

And their manners, general attitude and the danger of having so many mentally ill PTSD soldiers in public on drugs..

It is a powder keg.

Also of course Thais and Israelis are very closely linked, some people in government no doubt received some reward for paving the way for the deal which allowed Israel to recruit Thai labour, much to the latter's misfortune.

Thais were the most prominent non-Israeli victims of October 7th, which illustrates the close ties between some in Thailand and some in Israel.

Yes, I was quite shocked to see that there were 7 million Israeli tourists alone, we're only at 340,000 or so now, this will increase massively surely.

Pai will be mutiplied many times over. As will the drugs problems, crime and general unpleasantness.

It simply tells me that Israelis have proven themselves over time and consistently to be the worse tourists to ever set food in Thailand.

Good on the Thais for standing their ground.

Muslims are mostly very polite tourists.

Israelis are the complete opposite.

Are you aware that Pai is actually just a small village of about 2,500 people? You mention it in almost every post about “Israeli expansion” in Thailand, which might make some readers think it’s one of the country’s most important and strategic places.

All those stories about Thais actively banning Israelis from eating in their cafés and restaurants are just propaganda nonsense — completely fabricated or blown way out of proportion. Don’t think that repeating this rubbish hundreds of times will somehow turn it into a widely accepted fact.

A bit rich that, you either have no idea or more likely you like all Israeli apologists repeat denials or lies to each other convincing each other that it a widely accepted fact.

Unfortunately for you the No Israel signs have been reported not just here but in the International and Israeli press on numerous occasions.

Do you really think an average Thai person can even tell Israelis apart from other tourists? And do you seriously believe that an average Thai restaurant owner would turn away all Israeli customers — and lose money — just because some Israeli somewhere once didn’t pay their bill? Who are these stories meant to convince? I can understand when pro-Hamas fanatics spread such nonsense on YouTube, but hearing it from someone who actually lives in Thailand is just absurd.

You're wrong.

The population of Pai district, Thailand was 29,526 in 2005.

I’ve heard that Thais working in Israel can earn around 80,000 baht per month. That’s far from a misfortune for many Thais, for whom such wages in Thailand would only be a dream.

It was a misfortune for those  who died on October 7th. All the 80,000 baht didn't mean anything to them then.
