What do you reckon is Mr. Trump's emotional age?

Yeah, I've been thinking about Trump some more.

And this may sound crazy, but I wonder if he cries himself to sleep some nights.

People have this caricature of him being a black-hearted evil dictator, narcissist, ego maniac ... and a bunch of other nasty stuff with the Epstein allegations. But what if he's a really hard-working man who is trying his best to improve the country, and working his butt off?

And yet, gets constantly viciously attacked by opponents and media, and half the population hates him.

I think he's probably a really nice and sensitive guy. And it must be painful for him to wake up every morning battling with all these complex issues and millions of people hating on him and constantly attacking him.

He may literally start to develop health issues because of all the hate being directed at him by millions of people. And how much of it is unfounded?

You have to look at what he really is, his character, things he's done and said over the years, to see what motivates him. Did he become president to really help Americans or are those actions to bolster his ego? He already was a billionaire, so it's not about money but power.

The most powerful man in the world, although he doesn't come up with everything he does by himself. There are many others in his circle that have ideas and his is the final signature before they are put in action.

All presidents have to pick up the pieces of the mistakes the previous presidents have made, and many blame every president because they weren't able to fix the disasters the preceding ones were responsible for.

Yes, it is a very demanding job where people expect you to make miracles happen, and some get that accomplished, but thinking a narcissist, which he definitely is, worries about what happens more than how it makes him look is ludicrous.

His position has helped people in America since George Washington, and all the presidents along the way did good and stupid things, and expecting Trump to fix them all is impossible. Biden did some good and bad things, as did Obama, Bush, Clinton, Reagan, Carter and all the others, but the mistakes they made were put in the following president's hands, and they can't work miracles. It takes years to turn some things around.

Yes, he does look like he's trying to stop outsiders from hurting our nation, but again, what is the real motivation? In any event, whether it's ego or trying to be a good American, if it works is all that matters.

Half the people hate him because of what he is, and also some of what he's done.

He's a shady character who might have done some real immoral things, maybe worse than we think, but the thing we should be focused on, seeing he is the president and there's nothing anyone can really do about that, is hoping he uses that power to fix as many things as possible in the next three years plus.

He's definitely out there and acts like a child at times, but it's all not in his hands as there are people behind him he has to answer to. Some Trump supporters see him as a god because he did something that benefited them, so he can't do wrong. All the "leftist" talk in the world isn't going to take away the good the Democrats have done, and being in denial isn't going to erase the crap the Republicans have done over the years. Right now he's all we have, and as Americans we're supposed to support the president, even if he is a loon. Even though he is a narcissist, that position can help the world, even if it is to feed his huge ego.

Excellent post. As to the excerpt above, we should note that Trump did not spend his life as a politician. As to those who spent their lives on the govt tit:

Harding had the Teapot Dome

Roosevelt had Sidney Hillman and Tamany

The Kennedys Had the Mafia

Truman had the Predergast machine

Wilson had Tamany

The Clintons had the Clinton Foundation

Obama had the Chicago Machine and Bill Ayers

Biden had his son.

But wait!!!!! Trump f*ucked an ugly pornstar.

How soon you forget your allies like her Lawyer who sits in a Federal Pen, remember him? CNN said he was a Presidential contender. Remember that one, Trump haters?

Carry on with the nonsense. Trump has already won the battle of history.

Like I said, in three years we'll see what his decisions have done for America. Now many are worried. Hopefully his office does more good than bad.

Trump has lashed out against a top Australian diplomat who was invited to the White House, after learning that his guest had been highly critical of him.

I think many Republicans are also worried. People voted for him because the other side was weak, and not only because they thought Trump was a good choice. If the prices come down it isn't about the president as much as many other factors.
