Indian Tourists Report ฿ 50,000 Theft by Woman in Pattaya Hotel

Featured Replies

Not to victim blame, what evidence is there that the 50,000 baht even existed? It's not a small bundle in any currency.

Maybe the brief argument was in regard to leaving the toilet seat up  :shock1:

The "no free holiday clause" coming to all Indian insurance policies......

I don't think these types pay heed to such warnings. I did my research many years before I came here, and I knew well how these "women" work, where not to go at certain times, and how the brown envelope legal system worked before I came here. 50,000 baht is about $1500 US dollars, I'd say that's about an appropriate loss to teach them and their friends the lesson that they won't learn any other way.

Or a man 🤭

A lot of men are actually gay. They pretend to be a woman in order to get sex with straight men. When they have sex with a man who thinks they are a woman, it's man on man for them.

More stupid Indian tourists.

Hey guys, there's a safe in the room for a reason!

If you're shagging a hoe then hide your valuables!

What's the connection between LBs and this theft?

What does the incoranse companies do about the Indians, surele they must know it's a scam??

You have no idea if they are scams but, even if they are, it would be the insurers problem, no one else's.

I would be surprised if they paid out the inflated claims for stolen cash....

Why the allegation that "the claims" (that you do not know have been made) are inflated?

Just scan the QR Code she(?) has had tattooed onto her ass, no need for cash!

I prefer to swipe my card down the arse crack. Same result, cash free.

Someone should suggest to the Pattaya Plod that it would cost effective if they had an officer actively patrolling this Coconut avenue killing field, rather than require desk bodies filling in endless reports,

Why?   They weren't robbed on the beach road.

People have cash in their rooms is stupid.Specially if they take a girl from the streets.

My regular hotel in Bangkok allways demand copy of the girl id card. And when they leave the reception allways contact me ask if i missing something before they let the lady leave the hotel.

My cash is allways in my hotel safe and not possible to open for others then myself.

Its so easy to make urself safe from these kind of ladies.

MMM Is this an easy way to describe what these 2 clowns was going to take place.

relax and socialise

Insurance companies will soon stop all claims in thailand for indians if this keeps up surely

Do Insurance companies cover these type of claims?

I remember when people from the West were the main tourist grouping. These same stories were very common and widely reported, but I don't recall ever hearing about anyone claiming against Insurance for it. Are Indian Insurance companies any different?

And yet this, and many other meeting/propositioning, as is repeatedly reported,  was .

Clearly you don't subscibe to the idea that prevention is better than cure . Then again I imagine you would argue that there is no solicting happening there either.

Yeah that's a fascinating point of view. I've often times thought that a straight man coming to Thailand and having sex with a pre-op ladyboy, was essentially a free pass to have a gay experience, without the stigma.

" the pair met the woman while walking along the beach and were reportedly captivated by her charm. They invited her to their hotel room to relax and socialise."

Yes, of course they were charmed. I thought this story was told about a week ago.

Most men instinctively know they are with another man at some point before they do the deed. Some just let it slide for whatever reason.

Why is it always the Indians who get robbed? Really strange. Or do they just have the best travel insurance in the world?

Sounds like the Atlas soi 7/1 Bangkok, real classy joint!!

Don't you mean to add women also?? This OP is not about ladyboys.

Seems these women are somewhat smarter than the ladyboys. They managed to avoid cameras showing them clearly.

I do not understand these Indians though. If i have a woman picked up on the street and bring her with me to my room. I would for sure be constantly watching her and wary of where my money is kept. As well as making sure they could not access it without my knowledge. Seems Indians are more likely to throw there cash on the table and forget about it until it is too late.

your money and valuables should be in the safe !

With matching shirts just purchased from the Night Bazaar all the BR pro's turn on the charm. Greenhorns always makes the day for  Pattaya businesses.

I’m surprised they haven’t already.     Maybe I should get an Insurance Policy like that to finance my future vacation.

Actually not in soi 7/1.Far more up in soi sukumvit.

This could happen to any sextourist or sexpat....never...never leave cash or valuables around when bringing prostitutes back in the hotel room. Always have it locked in the suitcase before...

Just a few minutes ago i was reading a thread where a bunch of virtue signaling foreigners were barking on about thai never stealing.

an insurance scam ...AGAIN !!
