October 25, 2025Oct 25 I'm no fan of the neo-democrats in the US political system at all, but I think trump has acted hastily in knocking down part of the White House (which must be a protected building under law) to make way for a blingy ballroom that will probably be named after him. It should have gone to a committee and been an extention to the White House in an area that required no destruction of a historical part of the building. Okay, up to you US folks to cast judgement on it as it's yours, but to me the optics are just bad.
