Nasdaq chart anybody?🤣

This rant reminds much of wingate/walker88's utterly deranged assertion that Trump 1.0 PRE COVID caused the greatest depression since The Great Depression of the 1930s ie Steinbeck country. Total unadulterated BS but lapped up by the usual rubes.

Before starting pearl clutching rants about the economy best to check the S&P/Nasdaq for a proper measure, or you'll look like a clown. We have indexes for a reason fella🤣

I know, we're still waiting for the great depression Wingate/Walker88 predicted a few months ago. Or that Isaan guy. Armageddon was just around the corner, they said. And yet, here we are, inflation lower than expected and stock market at a record high.

Thankfully, Main Street and Wall Street are two very different worlds.

I walk only one and will never visit the other. Last week was a whopper! 😁

.. but I have withdrawn some chips from the table due to my investment horizon.

So, have all you leftists gotten out of the market and converted everything to Yuan and the Hang Seng?

Saw an article a few days ago about a guy on TikTok called The EggWatch. He posts grocery prices. You know..."groceries...what a wonderful word"---DJT

The EggWatch took photos of his purchases on Biden's last day in office. He posts images of the same groceries he is buying now, 9 months after Trump claimed he'd get grocery prices down on day 1;

Some examples:

The EggWatch coffee bag....Biden $7.99 October 2025: $9.99 (+43% under Trump)

Oscar Meyer Bacon...Biden $7.49   October 2025 $8.99 (+20%)

Hershey's Chocolate with Almonds.....Biden: $3.99   October 2025 $5.29 (+33%)

Boneless Beef Loin....Biden $13.99  October 2025 $16.99 (+21%)

Bananas....Biden $.54   October 2025 $.59 (+9%)

Lean Ground Beef....Biden $5.69   October 2025 $7.49 (+32%)

WINNING!

Reading comprehension is obviously not your strong suit.

I have reported that Trump's "Best Economy EVAH"...before Covid...was in the bottom 30% of all economies (per GDP change) since the end of WWII.

Bottom 30%, while not a Depression, is hardly "best ever". That's was just Trumpian hyperbole.

It is also true that Trump was the first POTUS to leave office with fewer Americans employed than when he entered since Herbert Hoover.

Trump also presided over a 41% increase in the total National Debt, adding $8,400,000,000,000 to what the previous 44 Presidents had presided over in the previous 240 years.

Finally, not a single Republican President ever has NOT presided over the start of a Recession. Trump took Obama's growing economy and 4.8% Unemployment and left Biden a Recession and 6.8% Unemployment.

But the main thing is him ,his family and close friends are doing very well, xxxx the plebs.

regards worgeordie

I was dining al fresco yesterday in downtown Bangkok. A short little old guy, with a huge belly, looking as if his SSI deposit was not going as far as it used to. He was proudly wearing a scruffy Harvard cap and a "No Kings" tee-shirt. He was hollering at the staff about the service charge, but when I walked over offer to spot him a few baht to cover what he was short, he saw my MAGA hat and peed himself and ran away. He looked like a very sad, angry guy.

My first thought...what's his screen name? I have my guesses.

Inflation will be nearer 4% by the end of the year, jobs numbers crashing and farmers selling up at pennies on the dollar to the Trump billionaires.

It's all going to plan.

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer (and sicker in the US)

What country are you from?

Did the global pandemic have something to do with this?

Why are you a serial liar?  The US was not in a recession when Biden over.

A lot this was due to massive COVID spending.  Also, the CBO is projecting massive deficits for year to come to out of control social spending.

How incredibly convenient and entirely credible! Sorry, buddy, but if you really think that anyone will believe that little story then you're......an "optimist".😄

It's silly to link macro economic cycles and problems to a current president to begin with, these issues exist and keep existing until they are solved. Virtually the only solution to that is a major global economic crisis and collapse.

Most people think the POTUS wakes up every morning and heads to the basement to look at steam gauges and adjust dials to adjust economy.

Shame on you for such blatant cherry-picking. 2022 inflation was driven my supply-chain disruption. Inflation now is driven my DT;'s fatuous tariffs. DT knows nothing about economics, and should have left matters to knowledgeable, experienced advisors, not a bunch of toadies and yes-men

Joe Biden pushed inflation with his massive spending after the massive COVID spending.

Maybe when the Argentinian beef starts coming in there will be an economic uptick. In any case, it's a win right?
