Gawd, that's a bit harsh.

Why are people so grumpy here?

I often get hate and abuse for my comments from some of the members.

The world has changed quickly, we now have keyboard warriors, sat behind their screens abusing others. I reckon it's the Woke, Lefties, these people are always violent and nasty.

We see these people marching the streets of Australia, protesting in their face masks and hoodies, hiding their identity, bloody joke. These same creatures complain about the Australia first people saying we are racist. 🇦🇺

Advanced age, frustration, loneliness and pure cussedness. There are a few who lurks around and try to hook onto anything and everything. Just ignore, and let them be...

Do a search for Expat loneliness syndrome, you will find very clear reasons.

Yeah, but OP often goes around telling people they don't have much longer to live. So not much sympathy from me.

Is there any soup kitchens for homeless / poor  people in Pattaya such as free charity food kitchens that hand out food ?

Looking to donate, or queue up? 😆

(You won't be allowed to help out.)

Yes I believe we cannot help out without a work visa ,what a shame

I was asked once for money by a young farang 30's ( near the flybird condominium ) who I believe had alcohol problems / drug problems and I did buy him street food but was wondering any longer term charity that can help him

I did ask around and found out he was on a disability pension from Norway

It's really low to ridicule people who need a mobility assistance  device. You have no idea of the pain and hardship these people endure  just so that they can continue  some semblance of independence.

And last  year when I had a horde of Middle Eastern hoodlums doing motorbike burnouts in the back of my Airbnb causing me to hide under the bed in fear of my life as I could hear the motorbikes roaring outside my window and immediately posted on the forum for help , I was lucky to come out unscathed

Airbnb moved me to a place with security

I want to clarify that I'm not from the Middle East. Recently, I was rigorously testing the new ECU and exhaust pipe I installed on my motorbike, and was eager to see how they enhance its performance.

Take a look at the charity, cabbages and condoms in Jomtien Beach. Right up your street, and five star Thai food at a three star price.

A few days ago you were asking about buying a motorbike. now you are on a Zimmer frame. Guess the motorbike did not work out to well then.

Could not understand why you kept referring to yourself as a "Little Black Duck" so I Googled it!

"Little Black Duck Therapy is a private regional mental health service that specialises in trauma, attachment & complex behaviours"

Is that you?

Would be interesting to know, whether Thai soup kitchens, food banks, etc., help 'farangs'... 😆

Alternatively, he could ask his folks back home to send him money via his embassy.

I once gave an English bloke in Pattaya a large bag of snacks that I had just bought, cause I wasn't sure whether he was out to scam me. (He said he was 'hungry', but didn't look the part, so he didn't get cash from me...)

i was told the food offered at the temple was free for the taking for poor people, but i am not so sure that i swear on it

This is the correct answer. Had to wade through a lot of crap to get to it.

Temples distribute food to the poor people, so George could make a donation at a temple or put money into a monk's bowl when they're making the morning rounds.  The Father Ray organization also does charitable work and takes care of orphans.

I remember during the dark Covid times here there were many food giveaway events, often sponsored by f-rangs.

One time I was carrying a big bag of groceries home and I passed such a queue and a Thai guy humorously asked me if I had won the lottery. Ouch!
