Life is boring

Yes, I get it. There are bored and depressed people in the world. I’m not one of them, but yes, there are many. When those people come into my space, I move away. I’m not anyone’s doctor, and I’m not here to sort out other people’s mental or emotional problems. The last thing I need is some basket case trying to drag me down with them.

Anyway, the larger point I was making is that the OP shouldn’t be posting a new topic here every week about being bored. Nobody wants to hear it. It’s a natural feeling for many people. So what. Maybe I should buy him that new book that was just published, titled "Your Personal Guide to Winning a Darwin in 30 Seconds." Maybe that would liven up his life. Also, if he weren’t such a nasty and virulent troll to begin with, I might have some compassion.

why don't you just put him on ignore, your posting is verging on stalker

No. But we clearly get it. You have no friends, no life, no hobbies, no real interests beyond hunting down cheap hotels and restaurants. There’s nothing going on with you, you're extremely lonely and,

  • And Trump threads you can read

Life is boring

Not for me, maybe later in life

I'm scared of becoming elderly, losing my good looks and physique, then life will really become boring.

At the moment I'm regularly talking to young ladies, women in general, walking the streets, in their workplace etc..

I often take them home, having a fun time, it's great meeting different Thai women, never boring, they are so interesting.

Oh yeah, one more thing.... losing my money, life would be extremely boring

Only so many steaks you can eat!

How bad is your mental state on a scale of 1 to 10  on most days?

Do you have family or friends that can help you out in Thailand if you hit rock bottom?

Sth to think about before it's too late.

If you don't have family, maybe time to get married? Having a partner might be easier than going it alone.

The absolute most boring thing I can ever imagine is seeing another boring new topic from the king of boring itself, the OP: HF.

First, is it most of us or all?

After that, how in the world did you get appointed to speak for everyone?

I never get sick of good food.

You know who does? Jay Cutler, former Mr. Olympia.

Those guys have to eat a TON of food to maintain their size. At one point he said he was eating 10 meals a day.

Now he's sick of food.

Maybe Sumo Wrestlers too. Not sure.

Also, boredom becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy if you start boring threads.

Try to start more interesting threads.

Users who invest thousands of words trying to prove they're not bored by a thread, ironically confirming their profound ennui through the effort.

I suspect people who get bored easily are good candidates for dementia.

He's actually right, as people who don't use their brain, testing themselves, reading, researching, initiating activities, does have them prone to dementia, especially if they're headed that way already or are already suffering from it.

How the h*ll can anyone get bored in Thailand?!?
There isn't enough time to do/see/experience all there is to do/see/experience here. And that's without even leaving Chiang Mai!
We find we have to plan our week carefully so we can keep up with the things we want to do!

My intelligence reckoning all that, but still,

If that were the case, you would not be bored.

That's like stating that you have become bored of keeping yourself alive. There are always things to do within.

People here like to act as if they know it all and there is nothing more they need to know. Some are not ever wrong about anything. As if to say I am perfect and so there is nothing more to do. These people are stifling their own growth. Destined to repeat the same things over and over again, rather than growing.

If your mind is limited, your experience is limited.

There are always things to learn about yourself. If you are bored, you aren't doing that.
