Migrant hotel protests erupt after 'girl, 10, raped'

Violent scenes have erupted outside the venue tonight after a man in his 20s appeared in court in connection with a serious alleged assault of a child.

Furious protests have erupted outside the Citywest Hotel in Dublin following reports of a 10-year-old Irish girl being allegedly raped by an African asylum seeker. Tensions have escalated with protesters clashing with police, resulting in a torched police van and violent scenes around the hotel, which serves as asylum seeker accommodation. The incident has drawn significant public anger, with locals expressing concerns for community safety.

The suspect, a 26-year-old male, appeared in court on Tuesday with no bail application made, and will remain in custody until the following day. With an Arabic interpreter provided, the court proceedings highlighted issues around asylum and integration. Local councillor Dermot Richardson noted that while the protest began peacefully, it deteriorated due to some participants’ actions, which he did not condone.

Ireland's Taoiseach Micheal Martin acknowledged the state's failure to protect the victim, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation. He announced a review led by the Minister for Children, with an interim report expected within six weeks. Martin also stressed the importance of respecting the ongoing legal process while recognizing and addressing public concerns.

Key Takeaways

  • Violent protests follow alleged assault involving an asylum seeker.
  • Suspect remains in custody; court proceedings are ongoing.
  • Irish government commits to a review and addressing public safety concerns.

No doubt the protesters will get a longer sentence than the rapist.

Nothing must be allowed to stop the leftist globalists destroying our countries/societies.

I suspect this will not end well in Ireland. History tells us they do not roll over to have their belly tickled. Lets hope their politicians wake up and stop destroying Ireland via rampant immigration before it gets too ugly.

Of corse they won’t.

i will vote for anyone who does a Trump style ICE and kick out ALL people who entered illegally.
Just talked to my mother in England who said she is scared to go to her regular shopping center due to all the Africans.
Stop putting them in hotels, put them in tents on the Yorkshire moors and let them live on bread and water.

By force, Trump style.

Would be a good start.

If only Ireland had remained in the EU, they could have deported all these illegals back to where they came from easily.

Oh, wait a minute... 😄

My mother moved away from Uxbridge ( Hillingdon ) to a rural area because she no longer felt safe on account of so many foreign men hanging around the shopping center ogling women , even old women !! . Wise move.

I don't care what colour you are, but I'm not interested in having Muslims around me.

How does EU regulation prevent Ireland deporting illegal immigrants?

How has Brexit made it easier for the UK to deport illegal immigrants?

Ireland was doomed the moment they let Rosie become a resident.

They should start by locking down all the migrant hotels and hostels ( in the UK also) search the rooms for weapons ect .Then tag them so they know where they are. Sounds a bit drastic but they have no idea who is in the country. Plenty of empty army barracks to keep them in

Thai Muslims are like Thai Buddhists........................not quite the full version.

Interesting that Muslims make up over 12% of Thailand's population (almost double, say, the UK) ....I image the majority are in the south.
