  • Personally I hope it is targeted and so it should be. No need to drag all foreigners down because of the actions of a minority.

  • Yes we're all aware of your peculiar and obsessive hope to target Israelis.

Israeli here. I love Thailand and I’m well aware of the bad reputation of Israelis. I feel ashamed reading about the behaviour of too many Israelis and I’m not surprised. They behave like this here as well. Israel is a very diverse country and usually they come from a certain demographic and origins, you can guess from where. We call them “Arsim” here.

I wish I could tell you they do not represent us but sadly they do. They constitute a large number of Israelis. I can say for myself that I always try to be respectful and polite in a foreign country where I’m the guest. Unlike most Israelis I usually try to stay away from other Israelis when abroad. They ruin the entire experience of a vacation for me.

Hundreds more bad experiences.

Even the Israelis are complaining about the Israelis.

You know it is bad Nick, stop trolling.

That's just in your imagination , its not actually the reality .

You're a provocateur spreading hate

I was wondering if this is being blown out of proportion, but here is a news story by a Thai person.

I don't understand Thai, but the title has the word "settlement" in it.

So it does appear to be a big problem.

Although OP is going too far by bringing war crimes in the middle east into these discussions.

But at the same time, I don't agree with playing the "anti semite card" to silence the conversation.

Jing and Nick will not want to hear it.

It doesn’t suit their narrative.

It is well reported in the Thai press and in Thai social media, not much in the English press as is usually the case with any thing that is critical of Israelis.

It is the people who have been committing these war crimes that are now causing a lot of the problems so it is very relevant to the topic.

They are setting up places for these war criminal to “recover and recuperate” in Thailand.

You should go right up to an Israeli tourist and tell them what you think.

And not a 5 year old girl like would be the norm.

I do often, whenever I come across them.
Just calmly ask them to quiet down and show some respect.
That is all we asking for.

They have killed hundreds of 5 year old girls over the last two years.

Less than your drooling homosexual rent boy drug addicted hero though.

Bet ya would never confront an Israeli tourist LOL

Sure. White feather.

Deflection.

You claim hundreds of bigoted anti Israeli.signs in businesses without evidence.

We know there are some.

Nobody is denying that.

But your claim is a bald faced LIE.

In your obsessive passion and enthusiasm to trash Israelis you've lost a moral compass if you ever had one.

How obnoxious of you if you're telling the truth but with your record of lying here hard to believe.

It's outrageous to suggest that every IDF soldier suffering from trauma is a war criminal. Your hatred of Israelis really has no limits.

Conspiracy theory time!

Funny you should mention that @Yagoda, but that is exactly what I used to do. Challenge the hordes on the islands to a dialogue. None of them could manage it.

Not everyone here is a spittle frothing keyboard warrior.

I've also met Israeli who have said exactly the thing that @MalcolmB has posted earlier. That they avoid other Israelis when they are abroad, for the reasons stated.

I guess the truth is too hard to swallow for people used to living a lie.

A group of business owners and island residents recently filed a petition with more than 200 signatures, submitted to the governor of the Surat Thani province, urging action against what they described as “Israeli activities causing distress to local communities.”

Tan, whose family has been operating a business in Koh Phangan, said problems with Israeli visitors are not new. But lately, they have become more noticeable, as more and more of them are visiting.

After months of enduring Israeli tourists snatching his restaurant’s tissues and condiments without permission, hogging seats without paying, and skipping lines, Bob reached his breaking point and decided to no longer welcome them. In October, his restaurant, Pun Pun Thai Food, a popular establishment on Koh Phangan, a holiday island in southern Thailand, put up a sign making it clear that Israelis were not allowed even past the threshold. “I hate the repeated behavior I’ve encountered from many Israeli tourists — it happens so often that it led me to put up a ‘No Israel’ sign at my restaurant,” Bob said.

“What I’ve experienced isn’t just from one person — it happens repeatedly.”

What did you say to them ?

I talked to them about the Palestine situation @Nick Carter icp They aren't so outspoken as they are here when presented with evidence and not on their home turf.

Let's just say that their stock answer was "it's complicated", but couldn't actually explain themselves beyond that.

We are talking about their behaviour in Thailand though , the Palestine issue would be  different topic .

This thread is about how Israelis behave in Thailand .

Did you talk to them about how Israelis behave in Thailand ?

No it is not.

These signs have been around since at least the 1990s when they were a lot more common.

You don’t want to believe it, that is ok with me, but it doesn’t take away from the fact.

Yes. I spoke to them about that. Did you miss the part of meeting Israelis who told me that they avoid other Israelis due to their reputation and behaviour?

There were also other incidents that I cannot discuss here. But yes, I discussed all aspects of their behaviour with them.

I've been in Chabad and pretty much everywhere. No one stopped me.
