I'm moving to Bangkok at the end of the month and I'm looking at renting an apartment somewhere along Sukumhvit. Does anyone know of a reliable real estate agent. I've been in contact (E-mail) with one or two and I'm getting the feeling they are only interested in showing me properties in the high price bracket.

Although perhaps only because I'm so happy with the place they found me (and also perhaps because the two girls I dealt with were both cute as hel_l).

You don't need to use an estate agent. Rent a room in a hotel for your first week and research yourself. Either take a walk around areas by skytrain stations or check out this site http://www.mrroomfinder.com/.
