BBC doctored Trump speech, internal report reveals

Where indeed is this planet heading to?

The BBC doctored a Donald Trump speech by making him appear to encourage the Capitol Hill riot, according to an internal whistleblowing memo seen by The Telegraph.

A Panorama programme, broadcast a week before the US election, “completely misled” viewers by showing the president telling supporters he was going to walk to the Capitol with them to “fight like hell”, when in fact he said he would walk with them “to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard”.

There is nobody more responsible than Trump for what happened that day.

He couldn’t accept that the American people had chosen Joe Biden over him.

It was one of his biggest dummy spits.

People died as a result.

And many ended up in prison.
So many people have died as a result of Trumps actions or inactions and so many have ended up in prison, many who worked for him.

Whatever faults Trump has, why should the BBC fall to such depths?

It’s honestly sad to read this, especially considering what the BBC used to be a few decades ago.

Are you lying, or does news.com.au "have Woke, Lefties and weird LGBTQ running them. "

Could you tell me which of these folks listed are woke, which are lefties, and which are LGBBQ weirdos?

BBC director general Tim Davie and News CEO Deborah Turness resign

Two resignations come at tricky political moment for BBC
published at 04:21

Helen Catt - Political correspondent

Whoever takes over from Tim Davie will do so at a tricky political moment for the BBC.

Every 10 years, the government of the day draws up its new Charter, which sets out the BBC’s purpose, how it’s governed and how it’s funded.

The current charter is due to expire in 2027 and the government is supposed to be conducting a review.

Last year it said that would happen in 2025, but it hasn’t yet been launched.
