A pickup truck crashed into a bridge and broke into two sections in Nakhon Si Thammarat on the morning of 8 November 2025, leaving the fate of its occupants unknown. The incident occurred at around 07:30 on Khlong Min Bridge along Asia Route 41 in Kaew Saen subdistrict, Nabon district. Rescue teams, including divers, were  immediately dispatched to search the partially submerged vehicle and assist any potential survivors.

Authorities found the rear portion of an Isuzu pickup truck lodged on the bridge while the front and main body had sunk into the canal. The vehicle was heavily damaged, reduced to mangled wreckage and no occupants were found inside. At this stage, the identities of the driver and any passengers remain unknown and it is unclear how many people were inside.

Preliminary investigations suggest the crash may have occurred sometime during the previous night. The area is remote, with few nearby homes and no witnesses heard the crash. The wreckage was only discovered when a passing motorist saw the vehicle parts on the bridge and reported it to authorities.

Strong currents in the canal, caused by continuous rainfall, have hampered rescue efforts. Divers and rescue teams continue to search the area for the missing occupants. Police are examining the truck’s registration and ownership records to identify the driver and any potential passengers.

They must have been flying to cause such damage. That truck is totaled. I wonder if they managed to escape only to be carried away by the current in the river.
