  • I wonder if this is related to the Pakistani health product scammers caught several time in Pattaya doing this to foreigners.  https://www.khaosodenglish.com/news/2024/11/07/indian-tourist-reports-sca

Anyone who pays more than a thousand baht for an herbal product is reckless, has very minor and perhaps no survival skills, and can be called a fool.

  • New breed? The old breed was smart? 555. They're all descendants of criminals, at least the non aboriginal ones.

Seriously, why would anybody buy anything from a complete stranger in the street. How stupid have you got to be to even consider falling for that BS. Just proves there’s one born every minute!

Oh dear... talk about an applicant for the gullible scamming Darwin Awards. What? He trusted some random person on Beach Road? Blimey! Can't fix stupid. Facepalm.

Believing the exaggerated claims, Mr Muhammad agreed to purchase two bottles of the product for 13500 baht. He later discovered that the same items retail in local markets for only 98 baht per bottle. The realisation prompted him to report the incident to Pattaya City Police Station.

This isn't illegal.

Making false claims about a product is illegal.

Yes for sure,,,,If u will send me $10 k in crypto i will ship a very special bottle direct to you....no refunds guarantee...act fast...wait there's more....send me 20 k crypto and i will include our special "I'm a Sucker" hat.

High Street herbal products are regulated for safety and tradition, not proven efficacy.

A handful have modest evidence, but hard scientific validation is the exception, not the rule.

Forensic scrutiny reveals a gap between consumer belief and clinical reality.

A mugs game.

being tricked into buying overpriced herbal and hair growth products...

from one of the accompanying  links in the op

An Australian tourist has filed a complaint with Pattaya police after being tricked into buying overpriced herbal and hair growth products from a foreign gang. The incident occurred in the early hours of November 10, 2025, when 23-year-old Mr Muhammad was approached by a foreign man along Pattaya Beach.

I see a trend developing ,  those with thinning hair need to be careful , more so if their surnames are not really in keeping  with their nationality    Anyway where are the photos ? i love a good comb over
