Trump won't release the files...

Fact is that the Dems got interested in them when, unexpectedly, Trump changed his mind about releasing them.

And do recall that grinning-chimp buddy of his announcing that DT is in the "Epstein files."

  • Perhaps he will and that will just make him appear more guilty….im thinking he will pull the same lie when he was hiding his taxes….he will say it’s an ongoing investigation so it must remain secret t

  • Because the first 34 felony convictions were not enough for you to quit supporting him, lol.

These are the possible outcomes and it could end up being a combination of 2-3 of them. But most likely it will be #9.

1 - Some files are released but with too many redactions to be useful.

2 - Trump ultimately vetoes it, thus preventing any release at all.

3 - Trump has all the files destroyed.

4 - Any released files won’t have any mention of Trump.

5 - Partial release with minimal redactions that reveals significant new information about multiple figures that redirects attention to people like Clinton, Summers, etc.

6 - Released files are largely redundant with previously public documents and contain no major new bombshells.

7 - DOJ resists full compliance even if the bill passes, citing executive privilege or other exemptions.

8 - Release happens under a future administration (post-2028) after Trump leaves office, changing the political context entirely.

9 - Release is delayed or phased due to court challenges, ongoing investigations, or litigation.

Impossible, totally, it's veto proof.

The release of Epstein files cannot be delayed until a future administration after 2028. The Epstein Files Transparency Act (H.R. 4405), signed into law on November 19, 2025, imposes a strict 30-day deadline for the Department of Justice (DOJ) to make all unclassified materials publicly available in a searchable, downloadable format. This timeline is non-negotiable and tied to the bill's enactment, not the end of the current presidential term (January 20, 2029). Delays beyond 30 days would require explicit congressional action to amend or repeal the law, which is highly unlikely given its overwhelming bipartisan passage and public support.

seems like all the dems in here are putting their feet in their mouths and will look like pathetic sheep if he does sign it, he would have to be demented if he refuses after telling the republicans to vote for it, wonder if any of those bagging him will admit they were wrong if he does sign off on it

MAGAs are experts on being "pathetic sheep". That comes with being a member of the cult.

Best you wait for the approved talking points on why "some files" are either withheld or have been redacted.

Trump's House butt man, aka Speaker Johnson, already performed a dog and pony show as to why the discharge petition and subsequent vote were wrong. Johnson had the temerity to actually say release would hurt the "victims" despite the victims all calling for full release. Then there's "risk disclosure of non-credible allegations, which creates new victims", which is laughable, given that Trump ordered his "independent" AG to investigate Clinton in the files (which opens up the chance to withhold on the grounds of a "ongoing investigation".

Of course MAGA sheeple will get their marching orders and say Baaaaaa!!!!!!.....their own wool pulled over their eyes.

Perhaps he's getting at something which you seem to miss.....Trump ordered his "independent" AG to investigate Clinton, despite Trump's name being more prominent in the files. Goose but not the gander, I guess. Oh, and "weaponization".

Also, Trump is now lying, saying he kicked Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago because Trump "finally learned" Epstein was a pervert. At the time Trump kicked him out, and according to Michael Cohen, Trump and Epstein fell out because of the Palm Beach property eventually sold to a Russian oligarch. Epstein heard about the property being for sale and asked his buddy Trump to assess the place and advise Epstein as to whether it represented value. Trump checked it out and then front ran his buddy and borrowed money to buy it himself. He then sold it to the Russian (who, incidentally, painted public hair and red nipples on the statuettes lining the property's swimming pool.)

The falling out was noted in media at the time, as Trump was long fodder for tabloids.

If the democrats are hoping for a quick win on this, think again..

In order for the files to be released to the public, the president himself must first sign them off.

Why on earth would he do that??

He is hardly going to incriminate himself, is he?

We all know what kind of man he is, he will fight tooth and nail and scream conspiracy to high heaven before he releases a single document from those files..

Eric.

Looks like you are wrong.

The numpties that love a good story, UK republicans, and the real bigwig crims—Trump, Clinton et al. All donkey Andrew did (as far as we know) was allegedly screw some willing legal teen. He’s the high profile scapegoat in all this and the yanks love to make the Englishman the baddie. Look at their movies. 😋

Those files will not be released by the current administration in full.

The vote in Congress yesterday doesn't apply to the documents in the files that have been designated over the last 20 years as "classified". I wouldn't get your hopes up for any revelations

The point was since Trump's name is mentioned so much, he must be guilty of something.

What does your little RE story have to do with anything?

Yo' OP. @Stressed Eric Trump signed the bill to release the Epstein Files yesterday.  I guess you can close this thread now.

While Trump might have signed the bill, it does not mean that ALL of the files will ne released, nor does it mean that ALL of the files that are released will be unredacted.

If course they won't release the docs. Too much damning evidence of Trump doing unspeakable things.

Mixed messages from various press outlets......

The Republican President, a former friend of the late sex offender, announced on social media late on Wednesday that he had signed the bill, forgoing any media spectacle of the event.

Insiders warn that even with the President’s signature, his administration could lean on redactions, procedural delays or lingering federal investigations to keep explosive details out of the public eye.

The Justice Department and FBI said in July that they had uncovered no evidence in a review of the files that would support further action, and it was not clear if the new probe ordered by Trump on Friday would hamper disclosure.

Attorney-General Pam Bondi was pressed on the justification for further investigation and said there was “new information, additional information”.

Bondi said today she had received new information that led her to now investigate people. She did not provide any details about that information.

IMO, there will be redactions and file shredding where the GOP wants to keep a lid on anything which would incriminate them and trump.
