Trump’s Full Ukraine Plan Revealed — A Deal Built On Concessions

Featured Replies

Why is nobody adressing this subject here: Russia recruits their soldiers by paying them 20 to 40 thousand Euros for enlisting. Basically a "volunteer army".

Opposed to the Ukrainian Army, where 45 year old grandfathers are conscriped? Imagine what happens when the Russians start to "conscript"?

Now, can anybody tell me what concessions is Russia making in this peace proposal?

? Russia won, there was never any possibility of any other outcome - regardless what fake news consumers spout on forums. David vs Goliath is just a fairy tale. Why would they start making concessions. Ukraine should thank its lucky stars the killing of its people can finally stop.

I never said that. You're making stuff up again!

It’s just Donnie trying to show his master by trying to force Ukraine to surrender just what a good little boy he is…..just imagine if FDR had behaved in the same way towards Britain when she stood alone…trump again brings shame and dishonor to our America just beggers belief….isn’t this the 3rd time trumps tried to surrender the Ukrainian nation to the enemy?

QUESTION: Who has won wars in the past? The ones that had more military hardware and military personnel or the ones that had less military hardware and personnel?

It's strictly about mathematics. Like it or not. And: As the old Romans said "Wae Victis".

Do they teach history in Switzerland?

Are you really unable to answer a simple question with a simple yes or no?

Rhetorical, we already know you're incapable and flailing.

One of the things suggested is that the US will help negotiate some kind of a security "deal" between NATO and Russia.

So Mark Rutte is going to let "daddy" do his job for him? I don't see that as a good career move.

Russia has heen "volunteering" pensioners and the inmates of institutions for the mentally handicapped. Their youngest, fittest and smartest are living and working in exile.

Winning.

Russia reckoned they'd seize Kyiv within 48-hours. They didn't and they actually had to retreat north to Belarus.

Russia reckoned Zelenskyy would flee into the exile shamelessly offered by Biden. He didn't and he quickly secured the backing of European leaders.

There, sorted it for you.

They all run away to Phuket?

Pretty good deal for Trump

Here's my plan:

Support Ukraine and let Russia go bankrupt - they're nearly there already. Russia will break apart, as before, Ukraine will get its territories back and then some, China will eat Siberia - which will distract them from Taiwan for a few decades, Stalin will continue to rotate in his grave, and Trump will claim credit for all of it.

World peace, finally.

(damn, forgot the Middle East, whatever...)

You are correct if what you are saying is that the Russian demands have not substantially changed since 24th February 2022.

As the Russians are on the road to victory their views must be taken into consideration if the fighting is to be halted by a negotiated settlement.

The alternative is to say "No surrender!".
Leading to further mass casualties of fighting/working age men, destruction of infrastructure, impoverishment of Ukranians, Europeans, and Americans … and finally unconditional surrender.

Those who suffer most, ordinary Ukrainians (not the mafia profiteers) and not deep-pocketed foreigners invested in "Defence", should have the final say.

Don't know what you're on about. This "peace plan" was put forward by the Americans/Trump, not Rutte/NATO.

"The Russian military has about one million active-duty personnel and close to two million reservists … "

"The Russian military is a hybrid system that combines conscripts with contracted volunteers; with certain exceptions, Russian law mandates one year of military service for all male citizens aged 18–27. Despite efforts to professionalize its ranks since the early 2000s, it remains heavily reliant on conscripts, with contract soldiers being concentrated in cadre and elite units. Russia planned to expand its active personnel to 1.5 million by the end of 2024, which would have made it the second largest active military force after China."

The stench of appeasement is hanging over this deal like a bad smell. Trump has definately sided with the Kremlin on many occasions over much stuff, so I'm pretty sure the FSB etc. has a compromising info file on Trump, like they do with many politicians and they are good at it (nothing like having leverage over people in power)... otherwise he [Trump] wouldn't get involved.

You have to go back to the 80s and 90s to understand what might be amiss, as Trump was heavily involved in Russian business ventures at the time, even a Trump Tower there too, but it all went south and he was pretty much almost bankrupted... this isn't opinion, it's well documented. However, he was bailed out by Russian money and he moved on to become more successful... but there is an outstanding debt to be paid still, and the piper may now well be calling in that favour.

Bear in mind the disgusting behaviour of the Ukrainian govt, over many years, towards Russian speakers living in eastern Ukraine.
