It's a self limiting problem as long as they don't attempt  the forced injection fiasco again. 100 old, sick people who were about to die anyways died from this instead of that.  Be afraid, very afrai

Granted, the US is not one of the healthier nations out there, with their horrific diet, but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that in the 2023–2024 season, approximately 40 million flu illnesses occurred. Relative to Thailand's population, that is about par. Not exactly epidemic scale stuff.

For the doubters, there was an article in the Bangkok Post yesterday about a similar "explosion" in flu numbers in Japan.

Let us see if any other (northern hemisphere) countries start reporting similar "explosions".

The UK is seeing higher numbers earlier than expected. A mutation of the H3N2 strain is showing up which this year's vaccine wasn't based upon, hence health authorities are concerned this year. I think I read it is currently circulating in the younger population more at the moment but the concern is when it starts hitting the older and more vulnerable population. My daughter has just had the worst bug of her life which I'm sure by the symptoms was flu.

Notice the lady in the top pic is wearing a white coat.

This Vaccine is not new.  The flu vaccine is a common vax and people usually get this vax about Aug- Nov before flu season. Nothing to do with 'forced vax', or new cases of some new virus.

I missed only one year between '80 to '25 back in 2004 when there was a global shortage of this vaccine.

Can't believe there are anti vaxers here. Imagine your in a rural area you get Flu or Covid, you're a senior, you're lungs are seriously affected, you're gasping. Have they got good well experienced medics, have they got ventilators, good scanners? In  these smaller hospitals?  Elderly are vulnerable thats why better off nations give vaccinations.

Feel free to worry about your own health and we will worry about ours.

Should we get get vaccinated to protect you?

LOL.   A hearty **** *** to you!

Fairly obvious you were not around when polio was rife.

It is no coincidence that the bulk of anti vaxers never lived through the 50s.

It is also a fact that experience will always override what gets said by self appointed experts.

Polio Alert!  Next we’ll be hearing about the healthy children who died from Covid.  😂

Still waiting to get Covid and laughing about all the mud bloods who no longer appear to be with us.

Vaccination proven to do more harm than helping!!

Well apart from the tens of millions who have been saved from death or a sh-it life over the decades, polio, smallpox, hepatitis, just to name  a few.

Vaccines have saved an estimated 154 million lives – the equivalent of 6 lives every minute of every year – over the past 50 years.

The vast majority of lives saved were those of infants. Childhood vaccinations today prevent an estimated 4 million deaths annually.

I can only laugh when the anticvax nutters spout all of their nonsense , they must be super stupid, but they do make me laugh.

No doubt I will be pointed to some stupid website which "proves I am wrong", written by not someone quite clever as they manage to make money out of getting other to believe what they have made up for a profit, they probably think idiots, come here read my article, I will get paid for every advert displayed or book sold, they must be laughing all the way to the bank.  😃

I normally get one in the UK every year, I have not had flu for decades.

Do you know if we can get them in a chemist in Phuket as we can in the UK?

Ahh yes, the  false claims about a Covid vaccine, and the use of Andre Guest. The mother  described Andre as a "healthy' teenager, but he was not. Take a good look at him. And since 2020 it was  established that;

- He was a premature birth at 6 months. He was born without developed lungs and a fully developed circulatory system.  He had PERMANENT physical damage. This is why he was in the neonatal intensive care unit for much of his early life.

- He had developmental damage. It was evidenced  by his autism and cognitive impairment diagnosis

- He was an undiagnosed Type I diabetic. The diabetes was only discovered after he was tested in the hospital. And no,  there is no evidence of Covid causing the genetic related Type I diabetes.

- A healthy youth is not as obese as he was. And no he was not physically active as his mother stated. He played in assisted sports, which are basically physical activities modified for the physically impaired. The  intent is not actual sports, but to get people moving, especially the obese.

- The mother was not a medical nurse s suggested. She was a seniors home home attendant who performed support functions and was not administering direct medical care. In the USA, a "nurse" can be a personal care attendant , previously called an orderly.

The reality is that the deceased may have very well been  infected with Covid prior to  receiving the vaccine, or he became infected prior to the period when immunity can be established. The fact that he was already diabetic meant that his immune system was already impacted.

If they included farangs with

diarrhea the number of cases would soar...😂

I consider it a reminder for those who believe in flu shots.  I do.

they hardly need reminding,       I consider it to be somebody reverting to the covid narrative in order to create unrest and get their 5 minutes of fame whilst unknowingly providing another excuse  for the usual suspects on here to attack the "anti vaxxers"

It’s easy to tell the uneducated by their comments on viruses. So much passion for something that, according to themselves , has zero effect on them.
Don’t want to get the seasonal flu shot? Don’t get one. Simple. Vaccinated strangers pose zero threat to you.

And if others don't want to get vaccinated its entirely up to them ,  The vaccinated need not worry as they are "protected" so why all the anti vaxxer hatred?   People should STFU and mind their own business

All these lives being saved, yet the world is in the middle of an over  population crisis,   begs the question why bother

because doing this (injecting three or four additional flu strains into the body when it is already sick) is deeply detrimental.

Since you're posting in the 'News' section instead of 'Off the beaten track' please share with us your source for your statement that I quoted above.

IDK, but in BK I Bumrungrad and BKH both stock this vax.  Other hospitals may have to order the vax if someone requests.

Poverty, bad living conditions, unhealthy foods, lack of health care ,all help these illness to proliferate. Just take the big cities starting with Bangkok and the lack of hygiene + healthy living in all the slum locations. These people travel on buses and generally work in low paying jobs , building construction, shops, food stalls ,shops ,taxis etc. Very contagious, kids in school.

vaccins against flu help. Flu can be very debilitating, I’ve had it, and was really bad. It’s all over Europe at the moment. Vaccine is easy.
As for diarrhea, that’s easy to understand in a country where no one cares about the contents of/ quality of the food they’re eating, like those open air sushi stands where you serve yourself and everyone coughing sneezing and touching them, Ugh.

Yes, the flu has gone viral because this is a filthy country, ridden with slums and poeple who don't care about the food that they eat.

Yeah right.

You blew your toxic opinion right out of the water when you stated that the flu is "all over Europe too".

Yes,the temperature drops a few degrees and all the locals get sick...I got caught out in Pai one year and it dropped to 13c overnight. I couldn't sleep it was so cold. No extra blankets in the room either. In the morning the old HD,s barley turned over.

just for ha ha's   cold weather/ stuck out in the rain don't mean a thing ..

try insulin resistant/immflamation/ terrible diet/overweight. and lazy as sh** along with sharing utensils in the family dish, workers drinking from the same cup in the water container, and absolutely terrible hygiene ..  how many people sneeze and cough into their hands,,   and then touch everything in sight ....      F'n nasty !

The weather??? It changed a few days ago and the  figures are before.. probably it has to do with the floodings and the mosquitos..

Elderly with kydny disease respiratory disease pneumonia, food poisoning and others cramped in small places. Jails vaccine won't save them if they are that sick to begin with those people need hospital care, but probably cannot afford it.

Yet they are placed on the non vaccinated death list, the same thing they did to boost Covid-19 death
