Don't pick on children that still believe in Santa. I've seen grown men who still believe they are women.

 

 

I don´t think we have many children on this forum. So, no! Santa is not coming.

He comes to my house every year. And I'm not even Christian!

 

Years ago, when my son was too old for department-store Santas, we discussed who (or more importantly,  what...) Santa Claus really is... 

... Santa is the SPIRIT of Christmas, a time for giving, showing extra care for those we love, and care for those less fortunate.

If he's gone, we've lost the plot.

I played Santa one year.

I rode slowly past a number of bars, pointing at the girls and saying Hoe, Hoe, Hoe.

Still don't know what pissed them off.

Santa definitely wont be coming to your house this year. But it is the same for you every year so at least you are already used to it.

In our home the spirit of christmas is Johnny Walker Black!!

 

We do also have a family / village mega party where beer and other spirits are consumed in large quantities!!

But according to Forbes he's off the fictional rich-list because he's real!!

 

 

There's nothing wrong with having a special gift giving, feasting drinking party with loved ones at least once a year.

What I can never understand is why grown, thinking people need to have  a figure head for the occassion making rules and regulations that have to be followed.

 

This christian holiday is just another working day in the district where I live. Nobody is aware of, or cares about, it's signifcance for so many elsewhere. 

However, a week later, New Year is a different story!  It goes on for 3 or 4 days and is celebrated with drunken revelry, loud music and fireworks that begin early morning and can go for days.

 

(Of course it may be muted this year)

By now, I think everyone realizes that if Santa didn't drink, he probably wouldn't have any of these problems.
