Can Big-C Beat The 7-Eleven Toastie?

The only thing better than a 7-Eleven toastie is two 7-Eleven toasties and bottle of Meiji chocolate milk.

Suddenly I feel sick,  what's for desert ?   a kinder surprise ?

  • I assume you are talking out of your hat, and probably never seen or tasted a 7 Eleven ham and cheese toast. Of course it will be better, as the one they sell is a disgrace to food.

  • 7/11 cheese and ham toasties are probably one of the worst things I have ever eaten,    Anything sourced from big C would be an improvement,     Are you unable to eat Thai food ?         Fancy travell

Imagine you want to make your own ham and cheese toastie that makes the 7-Eleven version look like amateur hour. But the kicker is you can only grab your ingredients from Big-C: bread, cheese, and ham. Which products would you actually buy, and after it’s all toasted and melted, would it really be any better than just dropping ฿30 at The Sev?

The fact that you need to ask speaks volumes

Undoubtedly it is a tossup between a chocolate ice cream bar and a green, pandas custard bun. I mean, who can really resist either of them, right?

Read the rest of the thread you will see there are quite a few members who are revolted by the trash you apparently enjoy,  are we all wannabe Hi-so's ? of course not

You are embarrassing yourself,   you should stop  now

triggert are you

butter toast absolute unit loaf
emborg edam that melts harder than crypto.

Sadia smoked ham that actually tastes like meat.
300 thb total for10 toasties @ 30thb each

7 Eleven does decent ham for 59 baht, four slices, similar to honey ham, really nice with a fried egg, brown sauce, continental bakery english white loaf

There is no substitute for a 7-11 toastie. None.

I don't see what's the issue. It's just another food in Thailand discussion. No different than any of the others like it.

No thank you, I'm not an animal.

Homemade would always taste better, but probably cost a bit more, considering the better ingredients.   All a bit irrelevant, and I wouldn't by a H&C toastie in home amphur anyway.

Convenient when O&A though, but I prefer the Spicy Pulled Pork toasties instead of poor quality sandwich ham & crap cheese toastie.   Or the pandan & coconut toastie, or even better, cream cheese & blueberry toastie, when available, and a rare find.  All washed down with a Hazelnut Cappuccino :cheesy:

With a gut full of beer and early in the morning on the way home after a short time nothing beats 7-eleven ham and cheese toastie

Very true , but no word of a lie ,   I was evacuated on Sunday and as it was late when I arrived at my hotel / resort  the only place open was a 7/11  I wouldn't normally consume the food they sell, but due to the Chemotherapy I am receiving I have to eat  three times per day ,   I stupidly chose a chicken burger  (should have stuck to the Toasties)  the following morning I felt ok initially but within 30 min of waking up I was projectile vomiting whilst trying to cope with a colostomy bag that was ready to explode,   once the vomiting was finished I felt fine

Oh thanks I was just having lunch, mushy peas and chocolate pudding

You would have been ok with ham and cheese toasties, burgers are always risky

Have a look at the back of the packaging... I think there's a mouthwatering 14 food additives (INS ingredient numbers) in that 7/11 toastie. And then look up what they are. Everything CP produces will get you killed a few years earlier when you look how processed it all is. The food industry is mad.

Enjoy!

the food industry is far from mad,   its the consumers who's  dietary   choices are questionable

Of course, mixed up; how else? What happens in your gut? Saves time.
