A disturbing incident has emerged in Pattaya, where a tourist is accused of groping a woman on a speedboat. The episode took place on November 24 at Bali Hai Pier but came to light after a video was shared on Facebook by the victim's boyfriend, Leo, on December 2. The video shows the tourist apparently offering help to the woman, identified as Gamgung, but allegedly moving his hand inappropriately.

November saw headline inflation in Thailand turn negative for the eighth month in a row, as energy prices tumbled and government initiatives aimed at lowering living costs took effect. The Commerce Ministry reported a 0.49% year-on-year fall in the consumer price index, bringing it to 100.5 for November. While energy prices fell, food and non-alcoholic beverages experienced a price increase after three months of declines, spurred by costs for fresh vegetables and prepared meals.

Tension along the Thai–Myanmar border reached its highest level yet, on 5 December 2025 after heavy fighting between Myanmar military forces and anti-government groups sent gunfire and explosives across into Thai territory. A large explosive shell landed in Mae Kon Ken village in Mae Sot district, Tak province, injuring three Thai residents, including one man left in critical condition. Man Found Bound & Dead in Flooded Paddy Field in Phichit

Rescue workers in Phichit province were called to retrieve a submerged motorcycle from a pond in the middle of rice fields, only to discover the body of a 33-year-old man bound and dead underwater nearby. The incident, which occurred in Moo 3, Wang Samrong subdistrict, Bang Mun Nak district, prompted an immediate police investigation due to the unusual condition in which the body was found. A security guard at a nightclub in Ayutthaya was fatally attacked after being lured outside by a phone call from a woman shortly after midnight on 5 December 2025. The victim, 32-year-old Suttikan Phetshin, was found outside a karaoke venue on Chomphon Road in Sam Ruean, Bang Pa-in district, suffering around 20 stab wounds and severe head injuries. A worker died after a sudden soil collapse sent tonnes of earth plunging into a four-metre-deep drainage trench at the Pa Daeng intersection, in front of Ram–Phayao Hospital in Phayao province, on 5 December 2025. Emergency services from Phayao City Police Station, the Phayao Disaster Response Rescue Unit, Ruam Kuson Songkroh Phayao, Khun Lan Rescue and the EMS team from Phayao Ram Hospital were dispatched immediately. Responders secured the area and worked cautiously to retrieve the victim’s body from beneath the fallen earth.

Norwegian Man Arrested After Tuk-Tuk Theft Attempt

Police in Bangkok arrested a 33-year-old Norwegian man after he allegedly assaulted two people and attempted to steal a tuk-tuk and a bicycle in the Sukhumvit area, causing a major chase on 5 December.
