Fall/winter Jackets In Bangkok

if you have any suggestions of where to shop for fall/winter jackets in bangkok (cheap to mid-range prices), i would be entirely grateful. thanks!

MBK has several such shops near the escalators on the 2nd and 3rd floors - middle section counters. Also F-House - has shops on 1st and 3rd floors of MBK. North Point shops (many malls have them), but quite high priced.

Was looking in the North Face shop for a decent jacket for the missus for going to Scotland this winter. Pretty reasonable prices compared with the UK. 3rd floor Siam Discovery Center.

MBKs full of pretend copy winter jackets no? Wear one of those in a country with REAL cold and youre liable to freeze to death.

On MBK 3rd floor, there's a clothing mart with a grid of rows and aisles and many small stands in behind the more-visible large section of tourist souvenirs and T-shirts etc. About halfway down the leftmost row, there's a shop specializing in jackets with brands like North Face, Columbia etc. They may be knock offs, (and probably are) but they say they're "made in Thailand for export." I bought a North Face jacket there which, if it is a counterfeit, it's the best one I've ever seen with all the seams taped in NF branded tape, heavy outer shell and very warm zip-out inner fleece. All the zippers are heavy duty and the logo embroidery is perfect. This has kept me warm and dry through two extremely cold northern European winters, riding my bicycle home from work at 2AM, and cost a fraction of what a similar jacket might have cost at home.

There are also several shops in the Platinum Fashion Mall in Pratunam (nearly adjacent to Panthip Plaza) that carry fall and winter clothes.
