a friend of mine has some sort of personality disorder in which he has serious and irrational mood swings on an almost daily basis. i thought i would refer him to a doctor, if one exists. he comes from a background of abuse and drug addiction so i think he might benefit from therapy. let me know if anyone knows of a therapist.

I can recommend Antika Klein, MD, psychiatrist in the Bangkok Samui Hospital on Koh Samui.

Tel. 077 - 429500. She also speaks very good English because she is half Thai, half American.

Good luck!

Perhaps it may be prudent to discuss the matter with you friend before you "refer" them.

Some people can get quite disturbed about people meddling with their lives.

I'm in a situation similar to the OP's and rather not refer to a hospital. Does anyone know of a smaller clinic/private psychiatrist in Samui? Any therapist who treats emotional instability.

There was another thread started June 2018 in the Samui-forum about mental hospital, as it's a newer thread it might have some answers, or being a better thread to post in...
