Need to get a permanent residence permit in Thailand?

Featured Replies

I have a Thai wife of three years
two Thai children
I speak Thai to read and speak.
I live on a married visa.
My income comes from renting out my property in Thailand. I pay withholding tax.
I also receive a monthly salary deposited into a Thai bank from my work abroad in China(i am not China citizenship)
Now I can start filing PND taxes – I'm not sure whether I should start or not. I've never filed before and no one has asked.
The main question here is whether this type of income is sufficient to qualify for PR, or do I need to have income with a work permit? Will there be any problems if I've never filed PND?

I also don't quite understand the logic behind how I can fly abroad with PR. There's some misunderstanding. Is re-entry ordered the same way?

Hands down the best website and FB group to ask questions about permanent residence and/or acquiring thai nationality is the Thai Citizenship website/FB group

Here's the website

Here's the FB group

Ask your questions in that group, you'll get solid answers for sure..

Best of luck with it 👍
