Advice on a Transfer of US Dollars to a Thai Bank from the USA

Featured Replies

I know this has been brought up previously, but I am planning on another Auto purchase here in Thailand and will need to wire/transfer some funds for the purchase. What is the easiest/secure way? Thanks in advance for your comment.

Simple bank transfer, hopefully you are with a bank / broker that is fee free for large transfers.   If having a VISA, try use for down payment, and the largest down payment they'll accept using VISA.   Should have some kind of VISA points or cash back with your VISA.

They might accept, or not, worth trying, even if just 1% cash back, help offset 'intern'l' fees.  Be nice if they'd take VISA for full price, but unlikely as would cost them a few %.

Thanks-Great idea on the Visa.
