Si Sa Ket has directed residents in "red zones" across three districts to evacuate to temporary shelters as clashes at the Thailand–Cambodia border continue for an eighth day. The order affects specific subdistricts in Kantharalak, Phu Sing, and Khun Han, requiring residents to move until notified otherwise.

Trisulee Trisaranakul, secretary-general to the prime minister, confirmed the evacuation mandate, emphasizing that evacuees must stay in shelters until conditions improve. The affected areas include several subdistricts within Kantharalak district, all regions of Phu Sing district, and specific subdistricts in Khun Han district.

Khun Han district chief Sadit Nichakun issued an order under the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Act, dated December 15, 2025, mandating the evacuations. Residents have been warned that returning before clearance could result in legal penalties. Authorities stress that safety remains a priority, and residents should follow all directives carefully, reported The Nation.
