Stabbing in Thong Lo

Featured Replies

On my way home after going to Tops on the corner Sukhumvit 41 this morning. Saw an old Thai woman on the ground screaming that a guy had a knife and had tried to stab her. The guy then turned round and came back towards us.

Then another woman came over to say her friend had been stabbed by him a bit further back down the street. So myself and a bunch Thai street vendors jumped him and beat the <deleted> of him. Most likely high on drugs as despite giving him a good kicking and a lot of boots to the face and head, he kept getting up to fight back and get away.

Police took an absolute age to arrive and didn't even cuff him. Worth noting the guy was a foreigner (his language sounded Russian), most likely homeless and with drug/mental health issues as he was walking around barefoot and was filthy. I also saw him yesterday around Phra Khanong bts rambling to himself.

The woman had been stabbed 3 times in the back of her thigh and he'd punched her around the face. She was eventually taken to hospital.

Annoyingly, when I had him face down on the ground with my knee on his back to stop him getting back up, I had people yelling at me to get off him and let him up. Even had an old Thai guy threatening to fight me and pushing me off him because, 'I was hurting him'.

You probably saved the woman's life.

Pat yourself on the back for your heroism.

And ignore the idiots and their silly reaction. Maybe they didnt understand what was taking place.

Wokeism and extreme left will destroy the planet.

Bring back disciple, corporal punishment.

Why would someone want to protect this violent criminal, what's wrong with people. Bloody idiots.

These serious offenders need harsh penalties, so they understand what they are doing is wrong.

A slap on the wrist doesn't work.

In that circumstances I would of walked off , it's no use helping with no appreciation

I do realise however you were helping the victim ( the old lady) not the idiot who wanted you to get off him

Thailand is fast becoming the Phillipines when it was covered in drugs.

I think you are exaggerating.

The guy was likely possessed by a lower etheric entity.

That's why it was hard keeping it down and why it kept fighting back.

Good on ya though, zombie killa 👊

How do you know so much about that?

It happened to you?

Maybe that last bit should tell you, as a foreigner, you don't get involved.

Never forget what Dorothy told Toto.

Yeah, grab his knife off him and give him a proper stabbing himself. That's how you deal with these issues.

Curious the heading said Thong Lo when Soi 41 is Phrom Pong.

It's Thong Lor police district.

Sounds like a work of fiction to me. This site will do articles on foreigners (unless they come from another country in the orient) about them farting too loudly in public. I can't see a world where a foreigner stabs someone, especially a Thai citizen, and is on a rampage and doesn't have multiple articles about it and follow ups on this site.

I live close to Thong Lo BTS but our postal district is Prakanong. I am sure there is a logic to it.
