Yup.  But you don't think there's anything suspicious about that huge jump in the labor force as a result of the BLS estimate, given that there hasn't been a census since 2020?

The graphs I posted above show healthy job growth, there are more jobs for native born 'Muricans than ever before.  Yet they claim unemployment is up.  Based on a census estimate.  That's how they manipulate the numbers.  Do you really think there's 3 million more native born workers in the workforce than there were in January?  I don't recall a recent baby boom.  Looks like data manipulation to me.

So Clinton is not to blame? At least you are consistent in your biased nonsense.

Golden Age: All Net Job Growth Going to Americans as Foreign-Born Employment Keeps Declining

https://www.breitbart.com/economy/2025/12/16/golden-age-all-net-job-growth-going-americans-foreign-born-employment-keeps-declining/

"The Bureau of Labor Statistics noted that net job growth going entirely to Americans is a complete reversal from former President Joe Biden’s migrant economy."

And we can all thank God that President Trump has stopped the flow of illegal migrants taking jobs away from the good citizens of the United States. This would have never happened under dementia Joe or word salad Kamala. President Trump just keeps making American Great Again.

If you go to the root data, you can find it.  If you just trust the MSM pundits, you won't.

Personally, I think it would be good news if more disenfranchised workers decided to dip their toe back into the labor market and start looking for a job.  Maybe it's the ones whose SNAP benefits now (or will soon) require working at least a little bit.  Or the ones that are encouraged now that there are fewer illegals taking jobs for less than they were willing to work for.

But any increase in the unemployment rate is a result of more potential workers.  Not anemic job growth.

The average annual unemployment rate during Barack Obama's presidency was 7.4%, which is relatively high compared to other post-World War II presidents.

And what was the cause of that? Got any idea or just throwing crap against the wall to see if the cultist will buy into it?

Caused by Clinton policies and Obama being useless.

Just facts. I see you have nothing.

Average annual real GDP growth during Barack Obama's presidency (2009–2017) was 2.3%. This figure places Obama's economic performance below the post-World War II average of 2.9% at the time.

If I'd known this was about America, I would not have clicked on the story.......:coffee1:

No one can blame President Ford for the unemployment rate of 7.8% from 1974-77 as he was a Republican and it therefore doesn't count. 🤣

Unemployment peaked under Trump at 14.8% in April 2020, but it doesn't count as he was a Republican. 🤣

Here's what my AI replied :coffee1:

📊 Why Census Data Matters
- The Current Population Survey (CPS), which underlies the unemployment and employment figures, relies on population controls from the Census Bureau.
- These controls are essentially weights that align the survey sample with the best available estimates of the U.S. population by age, sex, race, and nativity.

🕰️ Timing of Updates
- The 2020 Census provided a new baseline of the U.S. population.
- However, the Census Bureau doesn’t immediately release fully detailed annual estimates for every subgroup. It takes several years to process, refine, and publish the data.
- The BLS typically waits until the Census Bureau issues updated intercensal and postcensal estimates before adjusting CPS weights.

Why 2025?
- In January 2025, the BLS incorporated updated population controls based on the 2020 Census plus subsequent demographic estimates.
- This was the first major reweighting since the 2020 Census because the Bureau needed several years to finalize the new estimates and integrate them into the CPS.
- These adjustments are not annual; they happen when new benchmarks are ready. That’s why the big shift appeared in 2025 rather than immediately after 2020.

On the apparently large increase of native born emplloyment:

Every January, the BLS updates its survey weights to reflect new Census Bureau estimates of the U.S. population. In 2025, this adjustment significantly increased the count of native-born workers, making the employment level appear to jump.

Already debunked! 🤣

U-6 is the real measure of unemployment and that has surged 10% year on year in Nov.

Promise made, promise kept! 🤣

Trump promised a blue-collar jobs boom. The opposite is happening

President Donald Trump promised voters in 2024 that if they returned him to the White House, his policies would deliver a blue-collar jobs boom.

“We’re going to have a manufacturing boom,” Trump said during a September 2024 rally in battleground Georgia.

Trump said his policies would attract “energy-hungry industries,” creating “millions and millions of blue-collar jobs and jobs of every type.”

Unemployment stats are meaningless now days.

Unemployment and underemployment probably 15%

Issues are structural, Education,  broken financial system.

Biden just pumped money into the system. Everyone forgets so quickly the catastrophic inflation the entire world suffered.

Economic system on life support since 2001.

So Biden is to blame for  the catastrophic inflation the entire world suffered." And even if, contrary to fact, that was the case, was inflations "catastrophic?" I think you might want to reserve that word for hyperinflation which has been widely predicted by right wingers since the Obama administration and has yet to materialize.

Yes he inherited a depression and left office with the economy booming.
