Is Jake Paul a pathetic pretender?

Featured Replies

Frankly I've never really gotten the hype over either of the Paul brothers, and I don't know why they are taken seriously. Granted I don't take social media seriously and I don't follow anyone, thankfully. They have beaten a couple of guys with modest skills but Anthony Joshua was just too much for Jake Paul, and he truly demonstrated that the world that even a boxer who hadn't been in the ring in 18 months and was completely out of practice, and beyond his prime, could dominate and make Paul look pretty silly and unprepared to face a real fighter.

Paul was so pathetic he resorted to grappling, fortunately the referee called him out on that, you could see that Joshua was getting quite a laugh out of how the fight was going, before he finally started punishing Paul, which most of us knew was just a matter of time.

How many times did Paul either fall down or get knocked down during the fight? It was almost a comedy. Though I do have to give some props to Paul who showed a little bit of game, and the courage to get into the ring with this guy. I felt like Joshua was holding back, and he could have really destroyed this pretender.

Paul wasn’t that bad, but when you meet one of the top 10 heavyweight boxers in the world, and 30 pounds heavier and 5 inches taller, which means 13cm higher and 10kg heavier or so, there is a mismatch.

As a fighter, he just needed a few more years proper matching, and he could had been up there ranking between 10 - 20 in the world in the cruiser weight he is.

The brothers is just a modern way of Wayne’s world if you recall? While Wayne’s world was movie characters, this is the real world today with today’s social media.

They even had Trump on their show, so go figure
