Help me to understand....93 in my account

If the last two digits of the balance remain at 93, that means no money has been deposited, right? I've been waiting for a bank transfer for days, it's not arriving, and I'm in the middle of nowhere, paranoid that someone might copy my card. Thank you and sorry for the question, but I am stressed of waiting and waiting 🙏🙏

93 + 500 = 593, still last 2 digits still the same.

dumb question.

You are right, but the deposit came from abroad and never had a 30,000 straight amount. Sorry for didn't explain it🙏

Some of your threads make me wonder if you are of sound enough mind to own and operate a bank account.

As the transfer comes from abroad and you don't know the exchange rate, you have no way of knowing if the deposit will change the last few digits of your balance.

What a weird question anyway. Don't you get SMS or push notifications whenever a transaction happens? Definitely a good idea to set that up if you don't!

In 5 year of transfers from abroad the last two digits always changed. So my question. I am so stressed waiting for something that usually take 1/2 days and now we are already at day 4😢

But still, why monitor only the last two digits and not the entire balance?

Because, in this account where the transfer should arrive, I have only 93 THB.

If you still have only 93 THB in your acct, then your incoming transfer has not posted yet. Just curious, what type of transfer did you make? A wire transfer from your bank? Which country? Which currency did you send? Or, did you use Wise or some other third party provider? I wire USD from my US bank and it only takes 24 hours, unless I make the transfer on the weekend.

When it comes to money, it's the digits at the front that matter, not the digits at the back.

A swift transfer from Italy to my bank. Sent in Euro and arrives in THB. I just called the bank in Italy and the money started last 18 December.

But if I have 93 THB and will get (for example) 59,111 also the digit in the back will change. Or not?

If you entered the wrong swift code / account number, and the money bounces back to your account in Italy, then nothing will change in your Thai bank.

That's impossible: I started to send me the money 5/6 months already and, every month, took 1 or 2 days to show in my account. Maybe, maybe just the first deposit took a little longer as the bank need to verify. But after that, no more than 1 or 2 days.

I feel sorry for you that something like this can make problems. Normaly things like this get fixt in a short time.

But everybody should know that nothing is ever 100 % sure. A late or mai even a lost transaction can happen. Prepare for the next time.

Merry Christmas.

I called this past Thursday eve for my monthly transfer. But I knew full well that it would not be in my Thai Acct. until next Monday. When I called US banks were already closed, and then New Years and Jan. 2 Thai bank holiday, then the weekend so ... next business day after calling for the transfer ... normal timing.

have there been any public holidays involved? Usually the banks computers are shut down for public holidays, and international transfers tend to not hit the account until the first working day after the public holiday.

Most of the Thai banks will reopen on 5 January after the New Year break. Perhaps your issue will be sorted then ?

Why did you phrase your original question the way you did? Wouldn't it be "If my account had 93 baht, and it still has only 93 baht, has my transfer arrived?" And then by the end of writing the sentence you'd probably have deduced the answer.

If I'm misunderstanding, I apologize.
