So the "peace president" is at it again, and this time in Nigeria. And it seems he missed, which is hard to wrap ones head around since we know the Dep of War is so ably lead by none other that Pete Hegseth!đŸ¤Ŗ

Keep at it, Donald and you'll be a shoo-in for the Nobel Peace Price!😄

'Fear and confusion in Nigerian village hit in US strike, as locals say no history of ISIS in area'

https://edition.cnn.com/2025/12/26/africa/trump-christmas-strike-jabo-nigeria-latam-intl

"While parts of Sokoto face challenges with banditry, kidnappings and attacks by armed groups including Lakurawa – which Nigeria classifies as a terrorist organization due to suspected affiliations with Islamic State – villagers say Jabo is not known for terrorist activity and that local Christians coexist peacefully with the Muslim majority. “In Jabo, we see Christians as our brothers. We don’t have religious conflicts, so we weren’t expecting this,” he said.

Bashar Isah Jabo, a lawmaker representing Tambuwal in the state parliament, described the village to CNN as “a peaceful community” that has “no known history of ISIS, Lakurawa, or any other terrorist groups operating in the area.”"

Trump says he bombed parts of Nigeria to protect Nigerian Christians. Hey Trump, I have an idea. Why not offer visas to all Christian Nigerians?

Can I get the local MAGA crowd's thoughts on this, please?

Is there anything in the Bible about a limit? Did Jesus say "give shelter to the needy, but if more than 1 million it's optional"?

I am, of course, assuming that Trump bombed....who/whatever it was that he hit because of his strong Christian faith, right?

Demonstrably not true. The US is mostly empty space. There's plenty of room in the red states, the states where Jesus is Lord and Trump is King.

I'm sure they'll welcome their fellow Christians with open arms!😂

Not everyone would arrive at the same time. Plently of time to prepare for their gradual arrival. And think of all the fun ICE would have with the new arrivals, shooting them in the head with pepper balls, locking up their kids and, in general, scaring the bejesus out of them!

This is the 3rd thread on this topic ! It's getting hard to follow.

I wonder, who will be next ? The Nigerian action makes it feasible that Venezuela will be a candidate for similar treatment ? Greenland ?

That Nobel Peace Prize has disappeared over the horizon now !

Yes, you just want to annoy all the racists by putting 80  million Black people in their town .

You don't care about the welfare of Nigerian Christians , you just want to annoy American racists

Actually, I'm calling out the hypocrisy of giving visas to White South-Africans, but when it comes to Black Christians, Tomahawks are all they're getting.

Hope this clarifies things!

Some more from your own link that you chose not to include:

Nigeria’s Information Ministry later said that the government, in collaboration with the US, had “successfully conducted precision strike operations” targeting ISIS hideouts in the forests of Tangaza district in Sokoto.

However, it also noted that “during the course of the operation, debris from expended munitions fell in Jabo,” and another area in north-central Kwara state – though it stressed there had been no civilian casualties.

The operation in Nigeria follows repeated claims by Trump of a significant threat to Christians in the country, with the president ordering the Pentagon last month to prepare for possible military action.

Nigerian Foreign Minister Yusuf Tuggar told CNN Friday that he had spoken with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio prior to the strike and that Nigerian President Bola Tinubu had given the “go ahead.”

Yes, and I also got an e-mail from a Nigerian prince saying I could make some serious money if I only paid a small admin fee, but after ordering 10 Golden Trump phones I've become a bit more careful.....:coffee1:

They do, Daily output averages around 1.5 million barrels per day, so you would expect Nigeria to a 'rich' country, but its not!

In short: Oil brings in cash, but corruption and mismanagement ensure most Nigerians see none of it—while pollution devastates the Delta. Countries like Norway escaped the curse with strong institutions and diversification; Nigeria's stuck in it. Sad irony: Africa's giant oil producer imports refined fuel.😞

According to Democrat mayor Eric Adams of NYC, it costs the city $36,000 a head each year to provide services for each "newcomer".  How much is $36,000 times 80 million?  Every single year...
