You may have been living in Thailand for some time. I’d like to ask a question (you don’t have to answer). If you compare your life as an expatriate in Thailand to what it could have been in your home country (US, Europe, or …), what are the upsides you still can see of living abroad?

million times better in Thailand, so many more options, back in farangland it's really a family orientated place so not great if single

I feel the same about my perspectives in Europe. I don’t even have family left. Not strong social connections either here. I feel that boredom would be overwhelming while I can see more opportunities to move around and explore in Thailand. It’s like starting a new episode…
