Ha ha. Could you not look for it yourself on Google or Chat instad of wanting to be hand-fed the information.

I get the idea perfectly.

Yep ... basically a title is all I need. No matter who recommends whatever, I'm going to watch the trailer on IMDB. If a link provide, all the better, but seriously, title is more than enough, whether typed or photo of.

Wached ANNA Last night, pretty good movie rated 6.7 I would put it a bit higher than that

Does ‘Anna’ Mark the End of the Line for Luc Besson?

'Anna' was supposed to be French director Luc Besson's comeback movie after the galactic flop that was 'Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets,' but the new action thriller had the worst-ever bow for a Besson-directed film in the U.S.

In May 2018, Belgian-Dutch actress Sand Van Roy filed a complaint, accusing Besson of raping her at a Paris hotel. Initial press reports indicated that she had also claimed he had drugged her, which Van Roy denies. On Nov. 28, five more women came forward in a report in French investigative magazine Mediapart, alleging sexual misconduct. In total, nine separate women have accused the director of sexual assault and harassment.

Same as Harvey Weinstein.

Has anyone heard about this movie: Citizen Vigilante? It has become controversial. The German government has effectively banned it by not giving it an age rating. As the title implies it is about a citizen who takes the law into his hands. As an American this is nothing new. Death Wish with Charles Bronson was a classic citizen vigilante movie back in the 1970's. I remember the NYC subway vigilante, Bernhard Goetz back in 1984. The newly minted trillionaire, Elon Musk, has made it available for streaming on his X/Twitter account. If any government tells it's citizens not to watch something it just makes them want to see it even more.

I saw it, thought it was pretty weak movie wise, but I think it's trying to make a political statement that some governments don't like.

Binge watched all the Daniel Craig Bond movies on Netflix.

Casino Royal is still the best, but the others seemed better this time - compared to when I saw them originally on the big screen. Perhaps that's because the bar for a good movie is so much lower now?

I watched it about a week ago , it is just a very typical b movie with some over the top action scenes.

When the authorities find out where he lives is a classic “ one man defeats many “ scene ranking alongside Stallone and Schwarzenegger.

The rest is …. well …. Citizen Vigilante sums it up !, loved by the public, hated by the bad guys .

Nothing special and done many times previously.

Yes, awful acting. Like a C-class movie. Gave it about half an 'our.

I tuned out after the first 10 minutes. Armie Hammer has been dead as an actor for years and this was his"comeback"? It looked like a low budget. production The premise has been done before in many movies so what is there to be afraid? Eventually anyone with internet will be able to see it. Why is the German government concerned about his movie?

I did not think the acting was terrible, I felt the screenplay was the problem.

Also saw it, and can understand the controversial message. I think 6.6 is pretty generous, but I did love the message, and about time, especially reading some of the headlines & stats about gang rapes in EU.

For some reason I had an urge to watch the Star Wars movie which featured the pod race in it, "The Phantom Menace", and managed to find it and download it, and what surprised me was how great the special effects were, especially when showing the "Gungan" parade at the end – – IMO, just brilliant and never really thought about it before.

Ben Hur (1959), it's about Romans, Jesus etc, came out when I was in grade school, and all anyone could talk about was the chariot race scene. Most definitely the inspiration for the Menace race. I don't recall any comment in the media, when it came out or since, about this.

Well, I had an aunt with a big-time lech for Charlton Heston, and that's all she could talk about the movie. I suspect she had her first orgasm in a movie theatre when she saw the suddenly white-haired Heston in The Ten Commandments.

Mandalorian and Grogu

If you like the series you'll like the movie. Saw in the cinema, enjoyed seeing the Star Wars quality of special effects. Slightly disappointed Amy Sedaris (the junkyard lady) not in it.

Thanks for saying you watched it at a theater. I will definitely download it when available but at least I won't waste time looking for it now.

I recently watched F1: The Movie with Brad Pitt. It was very good and I am not a fan of car racing because it is hard to tell who is actually winning.

F1: The Movie

Original title: F1

A bit of silliness, but I enjoyed it as well. Pitt gets better as he gets older.

thanks for the tip, I watched "Casino Royal" last night and liked it. That said, it was 2:24, and I think they could have cut 24 minutes of ridiculous chasing and fighting and it would have been a better movie.

I don't think anyone that makes movies has been hit hard in the face, or fallen 15 feen and landed on concrete.

It's out now.

Devil Wears Prada 2

The movie that asks the existential question "Why TF are you watching this?"

The person who invented the fast-forward should be given the Nobel Humanitarian Prize.

As per a recommendation on here (can't remember who, sorry) I watched the movie "633 Sqadron" and enjoyed it and I wasn't worried about some aspects of the cinematography because I thought the whole movie was good! The backing music was also very good and "stirring", but the blonde woman who was sister of the Norwegian officer did look like a man on some camera angles!!!

It's a Nordic Crime show which can be a little hit & miss but I enjoyed Season 1 of this one so have started on Season 2)...

Watched that when it was being broadcast. Quite good. I remember being disappointed when it ended.

Disappointed that it ended or with how it ended?

It was so long ago I have no idea. Probably similar to another one from the same era called Regenesis. Exceptional but needed another season or two to tie up all the loose ends properly instead of jamming it all into an episode or two.

An excellent show - I used to get the files from Panthip - around the time of "The Wire" and "Under The Dome"

I take this back, it was rubbish, and full of historical errors.

Currently watching the five seasons of 'Sliders''

"Heroes" started off well, then totally lost the plot in Season 2.

"Under the Dome" complete pants in every way.

Did you spot the 2 wristwatches.... 🙃

Google-- This continuity error primarily occurs during the infamous Chariot Race. While Charlton Heston (who plays Judah Ben-Hur) wore leather braces up to his elbows that effectively covered his arms, sharp-eyed viewers have noted that an opponent and one of the trumpeters around the track appear to have something resembling a wristwatch on their wrists
