January 11Jan 11 I met a healthy-looking young couple from the UK a few weeks ago. They were visiting Chiang Mai for 4 days, and wanted to know where they could find a gym with a pool for doing laps. They said it was their habit to visit a gym twice a day at home for a good workout.2- 3 hours in the morning and 2-3 hours in the afternoon.I wonder why they spent $600 and traveled 9,500 kilometers just to do the same things that they do at home? I can understand the local expats wanting to visit a gym twice a day, but that's a lot of time taken away from sightseeing and learning about a new culture for a tourist!

Im thinking 30 minute sessions then leave. Get a monthly rate. Might do weights at 10am then boxing at 4pm. 8x 3 minutes boxing plus rest.
