Why are Jews the world’s most persecuted people?

Christianity is a seed from Judaism, same as Islam, same as protestant

Not that difficult is it?

Nope, easy to understand when you say it like that

Are they? They're the most talked about persecuted people, not per se the most persecuted.

Palestinians can move to any other of the numerous different Muslim Countries , Israelis cannot move to any other Jewish country

Palestinians are stateless, Does Israel grant them passports? Don't think so. They are not only stateless but unwanted in other Muslim countries. Doors only open for money.

Perhaps readers here might examine why Palestinians are unwanted evereywhere. That actually fits quite well with the topic of persecution of Jews. Instead of the Chosen People, perhaps the truth lies that the two Unwanted People belong together!

In contrast, 20-25% of Israelis come from other countries (at least some by Right of Return). They are dual nationals and have a right to return to any country they came from.

There's only one 'Jewish country,' if you're casting Israel as a theocracy. (I should actually start a thread about that.)

No other debattant gives a better understanding why Jews is the most persecuted people than you. Exactly how you debate is the nature of the persecution,

You are writing through ignorance because you do not know what my Religious preferences are .

Your thought process is "I don't like Nick Carter and I don't like Jews"...... So , Nick Carter must be one of them as well .

So, have a *D'uh* back

I have no personalized feelings against Jews or you just a debate about what is right and wrong, so get over it when I rationalize my thought experiences why things are as they are.

You kind of gives it away, or you are a fanatic christian who believes Jews are the chosen people.

Nobody likes bullies, and even worse, bullied people who suddenly experience they got power and abuse the power in the same way they where treated, or worse

Just stop guessing .

Saying that Israelis are the same, or even worse than the Nazis (as you subtle did ) would get you removed from your job if you stated that publicly .

That is an extremist attitude to have, which isn't tolerated in mainstream society

157 of the UN's 193 member states have recognised Palestine. But, which country will give them a passport? Not Israel, for ideological reasons. Lebanon, Syria and Jordon, where there are large Palestinian communities, use jus sanguinis for citizenship, requiring father of that citizenship.

In any case, that still leaves "Israeli "Palestinians stateless, no matter how many countries recognise a State of Palestine. Without offering citizenship, such recognition is pointless. Perhaps a compassionate nation could issue Palestines a passport such as the British Overseas Passport issued to nationals of Hong Kong as well as a host of tiny British islands and protectorates. The BNO does not guarantee right of abode in the UK.

The trouble is right of abode. Wherever your passport is from, that's where you have a right to live. As the world's second most-persecuted Semites, no country wants them to move in next door.

Of course, the other issue is free will. Do Israeli Palestines want to move away from their ancestral properties and farmlands. I suspect not.

Eh ?

Was that a trick question ?

Nick, I fear you're correct. Right or wrong does not seem to enter into the world's affairs (if it ever has).

Clearly, however, both Hamas and Israel are wrong, and that has NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING to do with antisemitism.

To support Israel's war, or any war, means you celebrate bloodshed. Recognise that, in any nation, the blood spilled could be yours or your loved ones.

So take a breath, and stop the rancour...

Eh, ?

2 million Palestinians already have got Israeli citizenship .

They sit in the Israeli Parliament and play for Israel National football team .

They are full citizens and get passports and everything else that goes with it

Oh believe me, in Europe they are convicts the Israelis is no better than the Nazis, and many of my friends have served in UNIFIL (Norbatt) and most of them left as pro Israel, came back pro Palestinians. Coincidence ? They actually volunteered because they thought they where going there to protect Israelis form the crazy Palestinians,

On the physical ground they experienced the true reality of what was really going on.

You understand just the claim you are chosen by god as a belief, gives you some true challenges, especially when you trying to fulfill the promises and the expectations?

A whole Christian world waiting for it to happen!

Again nothing personal, just being pragmatic and realistic.

Why are you stating that its "NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING to do with antisemitism." ?

No one stated that it was .

Once again, you need to wait until someone claims that its Anti Semetic, before you make the denial

There are, in fact, Palestinian Authority passports, you're right. But to get one, a Palestinian needs to have been born in the territory and have been registered and received an ID card before the age of 16. Neither of these is as simple as it might be in the West or in Israel. Unless, I'm mistaken, Israel must approve both ID card and passport and still may disallow it for travel to and from Israel.

Would Jordan or Egypt allow PA citizens across their borders. I doubt it but, again, I don't know.

I also doubt Israel would issue them 'overseas' passports like the Brits, or that Palestinians would accept them.

I'll reply to your other comment here. 'Arabs'--Muslims, Christians, Druze--make up 20% of the Israeli population though not all are granted Israeli passports. Many are only issued residency cards, particularly those living in East Jerusalem. However, I presume that those with Israei status are permitted to vote (21% is a sizeable voting bloc!) and even run for office. AFAIK, they are not 'eligible' for conscription. (That must make them feel extremely disappointed.).

There are ~2M living in Palestine and an equal number in Israel. Why leave them stateless?

People with no knowledge of the situation , watch a biased Al Jazeera news report and chime in with the wrong opinion on line .

Because, the Palestinians rejected their own state when it was offered to them .

Israel accepted and Palestinians rejected .

That is why there was an Israel state and NOT a Palestinian state .

What Hummin is talking about are the UN peacekeepers stationed in Lebanon. Gilat Atzmon, already mentioned in this thread, as a 21-year old IDF soldier, was given a tour of what he described as an Israeli concentration camp. He emigrated from israel as quickly as he could.

That says a lot, that he was willing to abandon his birth country after he saw what his country was doing. I did the same during the US war on Vietnam (no bone spurs!).

Do you know what happened the last time Jordan allowed Palestinians in ?

A civil war erupted

How about you reading up on some history ?

It should be basic common knowledge that you should know before commenting on the situation

Wasn't UNIFIL in Lebanon ?

Yes, and ?

Didn’t you understand ? They went pro Israel to serve, saw whats going on, and changed their minds.

I know Lebanon have another mix than pure Palestinians, but still, they got their eyes open for what was really going on in the area. And it was Palestinians we where talking about right who is the main problem here with no country and who are stateless

My point was that they didn't go to Israel, they went to Lebanon .

They are bound to side with the Lebanese, if they were living in Lebanon
