Kasikorn bank book code for income from abroad

Featured Replies

I update my bank book every month after transferring my >65,000 baht every month. In my bank book this income was marked in the right-hand column as TFN05030. The column is headed "TELLER NO". I assume this might mean Transfer ForeigN? But as from the end of last year the codes have been GPS00031, GPS00036 and GPS00002 for my Nov, Dec and Jan receipts. Has anybody else noted this and more importantly has anybody told immigration of the new code. The TFN code is listed on the back page of my bank book, the GPS code isn't listed at all.

If you get a 12 month Kasikorn statement printed in Thai, the transaction descriptions should show up as รับเงินธุรกรรม ตปท which translates to "Receive payments from international transactions.". I believe that Immigration accepts this as proof of a foreign transfer.

Right hand?

Never took notice of that and no idea about the meaning. Some internal stuff.

So far the 2nd column from left (CODE) was relevant.

Just checked:

for me at least with WISE transfer

the bank book has become irrelevant for proof!

The last transfers from Nov and Dec are simply "TRN"!

As previous post says:

get a blank statement!

For your personal use you can do the download/mail with the app.

Row looks like:

Thai text translates as above

(editing on the phone with images has become a mess)

As I noticed from others on my last visit to KK immigration they now always require a one year statement.

Bank book not sufficient.

Worked for me for my last extension (income method) at CW.

Got that tip from UpNotOver and not a problem. (Kasikorn)
