Legalizing a foreign Power of Attorney document in Thailand

Featured Replies

I want to start a business in Georgia (remote work company). I've found an agent that can setup my company on my behalf if I can get a Power of Attorney document notarized and legalized in Thailand.

Been trying to legalize this in Chiang Mai, but they didn't want to do this. They stated they cannot legalize such a document.

According to ChatGPT however it should be fine though. So, I am considering trying take this notarized document with me to Bangkok, try at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs there.

I tried to send them an email with the question if this is possible but haven't received a response.

I wonder if anyone else has done this? Getting a foreign Power of Attorney document both notarized and legalized in Thailand, by Thai government?
