Just a guess, but I'd consider it fairly accurate ... enough. As chances are it used the same sensor as most others.

One of my PM2.5 Tricorder crapped out, and I replaced the PM2.5 sensor, with the sensor most vendors sold (GS / PMS5003), and matches close enough to local area sensor, and the other known sensor that provides info on internet for my area.

Bought from LAZ ...

AI agrees, good enough for our purposes, and reassuring Xiaomi uses their sensors also ...

The pm meter shows higher than my Xiaomi purifier and half of what my air quality app says it is outside. So I'm not sure if that one works or it is the two others.

Can't be accurate

Not every PM 2.5 meter can be trusted. I am using 3 Xiaomi air purifiers and bought 2 PM 2.5 meters to use when travelling. I discarded one of the meters because the measurements were way off. The others show similar values within an acceptable range.
