Four Israeli men have been arrested on Koh Phangan after police raided a loud party at a villa and discovered the use and possession of a potentially deadly polydrug in pills shaped like Labubu dolls. The arrests were made on 24 January 2026, following complaints from local residents about suspicious activity at the property. Authorities said the suspects attempted to flee but were quickly detained and their visas will be revoked ahead of deportation.

Tourist police on the southern island said they received a hotline report from residents who were disturbed by noise and concerned by the number of foreigners entering and leaving the house throughout the day. Officers moved in to investigate and found four Israeli men inside the villa. A search of the property uncovered several illegal substances, including cocaine, ecstasy (MDMA) and a polydrug known among users as “candy”.

The “candy” drug was found in pills shaped like the popular art toy Labubu, which has recently been linked to dangerous drug combinations in Thailand. Koh Phangan district chief Paisit Thongcherm said the pills contained high concentrations of MDMA mixed with other substances such as ketamine, cocaine and caffeine. He warned that this combination significantly increases the risk of fatal overdose and can cause sudden cardiac arrest.

Authorities had previously warned the public about Labubu- and Doraemon-shaped pills last year, highlighting fears that their toy-like appearance could attract children. Officials said some versions of these combination drugs were found to contain MDMA and ketamine mixed with diazepam, making them particularly hazardous. The renewed discovery has reinforced concerns about the spread of polydrug use in tourist areas.

The four suspects were identified as Eliran Avitan, 27; Sali Sason, 27; Dor Nachmias, 29 and Ben Aslan, 29. They have been charged with possession and use of Category 1 and Category 2 narcotics under Thai law. Authorities confirmed that immigration procedures would follow, including visa revocation and deportation after legal proceedings.

Bangkokpost reported that police said they would continue monitoring parties and rental properties on Koh Phangan, particularly those linked to complaints from residents. Officials also reiterated public health warnings about combination drugs disguised as toys. Further investigations will follow to trace the source and distribution of the pills on the island.

Key Takeaways

• Four Israeli men were arrested on Koh Phangan on 24 January 2026 during a police raid on a villa party.

• Police seized Labubu-shaped “candy” pills containing MDMA mixed with other drugs, posing a high overdose risk.

• The suspects face narcotics charges, visa revocation and deportation after legal proceedings.

That's where the full moon parties held? Where they sell anything & everything

Maybe the loud music stepped on someone's toes unlike the karaoke the locals & the temples have until crazy hours which is probably much louder

They seem to be top of the drug taking list at the moment of people getting busted.

But hey they can do what they want as they are chosen ! 🙄

Tourists are not allowed to do Thai Working Jobs do not forget!!!!😉😉😉😉

Is it just me, or does "Israel" pop up left, right & center in conjunction with drug busts in Thailand?

It will be interesting to see the follow up to this. Will it be simple deportation or will substantial jail time be given before deportation?

The Usual Suspects. Why are they not in jail?

They are "God's Chosen People". Imagine those poor bubeles seem to always be where drugs are. They always seem to be behind the drug culture, trafficking and promotion. It must be God's mission.
