I was walking into a toilet which was empty for a pee, I had noticed this guy standing at the entrance but thought nothing of it, as I stopped at a urinal, this guy stood at the next one watching me, probably a homosexual.

If I was younger and that was in the UK, then yes! I would have been very violent.

He was probably gay and you are probably a raging homophobic. 😉

One of my pals was very homophobic ....... We had a ladyboy serving our drinks in a bar and she decided to sit next to him. He was furious, so to compensate the LB for his ignorance, I invited him/her

    They're not fussy.

  • No but I picked up one on stage at Classic Boys in late 2011. 14 years later we're long since happily hitched (in Oz) and living cheerfully not far from his Khmer peasant family here in south Surin

Seems the further north I go, the gayer it gets. Last time I went up north was about 2011.

I was with a hottie girl in Loei, went for a pee, randomly a guy started chatting to me on the way out, just thought it was small talk at first, then I realised what was happening, so exited situation quickly.

Nong Khai nightclub was full of them. I was standing up, arm around my hottie and 3 guys came up hitting on me. We left after that.

Went up to Laos. Situation just got worse.

What the hell is going wrong with my world?

You are so lucky.

It really got to the point I was hating my holiday, seemed I was getting hit on at every opportunity. I don't supposed things have changed much since then either.

I really don't know if I gave off gay vibes or what, but at Nong Khai I had my arm round a girl ffs.

15 years ago. Maybe time to let it go.

I find Nong Khai to be a normal town. People are friendly.

Ugly old straight guys often have a bizarre tendency to way overinflate their appeal to gay men.

Having a D functioning or not is not enough.

Sure there are gay men who have no standards just like anyone else, but the vast majority are quite particular about what does it for them or not. Overly and oppressively so actually which can be brutal for gay men over 30 and/or not meeting with unreasonable body image expectations likely fueled by media and porn.

The Reality: Gay Men & Body Image

Let’s be honest: gay men & body image are closely intertwined, largely because the culture of attraction among men is highly visual. Men—regardless of sexuality—are often more visually driven when it comes to attraction. When you place men in a dating culture with other men, physical appearance naturally becomes a central metric of desirability.

Hat Yai has lots of muslims yet still have ladyboys. So I dont know if one city has more except for Pattaya which is an outdoor brothel.

Just because a gay guy is friendly doesn’t mean he is hitting on anyone, it just means he’s friendly just like other friendly people. The problem with some guys is that they lack real self confidence and feel insecure and threatened and fearful when they see a gay guy, not to say that there’s not creepy gay guys and the same with creepy straight guys in fact I see a lot more creepy straight guys that I would never give the time of day to than I do gay guys but then again I’m not afraid of gay people and not ashamed of giving any of them the time of day or a friendly conversation. Most people are civil and there are chunks of dirt in every group.

Not sure if that is aimed at me, but I have a hot 25yr old English girlfriend.

English? Girlfriend? Surely that's a typo?

I thought no young English women looked at guys these days....
