Yes. Last time I voted in Los Angeles County I presented my drivers license to the poll worker and she said "put that away". She then said what is your name and your address. I could have said my neighors name and address because he is also a registered voter but I gave my true name and address. To me this was baffling. But this is Caflironia after all. As far as I know nothing has changed in CA.
