Why Global Opinion Is Turning Against Israel – And What Comes Next

What about 1967?

Key details regarding the start of the 1967 War:

  • The Preemptive Strike: On the morning of June 5, 1967, the Israeli Air Force launched "Operation Focus," destroying the vast majority of Egypt's air force on the ground, securing air superiority.

  • Immediate Causes: The strike followed Egypt's blockade of the Straits of Tiran, which Israel considered an act of war, and the mobilization of Arab forces.

  • Escalation: While the initial strike was against Egypt, Jordan and Syria joined the conflict later, leading to Israel seizing the Gaza Strip, Sinai Peninsula, West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights.

  • Perspectives: While commonly described as a preemptive strike by Israel to avoid a planned attack by Arab states, some perspectives consider it an aggressive, unprovoked attack, or the result of a failed, escalating diplomatic crisis.

What about it?

Typical, answer a question with a question, on your bike.

I did not understand the question, that's why I asked. I do not have a bike.

What happened when Isarael gave Gaza back, was there peace at last?

I have nothing against muzzers except the ones who follow the Quran and attend mosques

Wow, you openly admit your islamophobia.

1-“muzzer” (or “muzzie”) is a slur for a Muslim.

Omg, what a muzzer.

Exactly right, just have a look at all these nice Resolutions Israel has ignored,

how much does one have to hate jews in order to consider conducting such research?

I am not islamophobic, as I do not suffer from an irrational baseless fear which is the definition of a phobia. However I do not like them and I openly admit that (wow).

I refer to those who use prostitutes as " mongers" and those addicted to heroin as "junkies" both could be considered a slur but are not evidence of a phobia.

Some refer to the British as "brits" what about that then? more evidence of phobia

islamophobia is a word made up by people like you ,

How did you know I was a Muslim, and what does that have to do with anything?

How does Israeli conduct towards the U.N. which clearly shows a lack of respect for International Law, equate to Jew hatred. does the truth hurt you in some way?

Yet again, fain ignorance of the original question, then try and say Israel gave back something they have no right to occupy or have any influence on.

Why does Israeli conduct towards the U.N, not just clearly show lack of respect for the U.N.?

Israel is not a party to the Rome Statue, and as such, is not required to recognize the International Criminal Court. I am surprised you did not know that.

  • Non-Membership: As a non-party, Israel argues the ICC lacks jurisdiction over its actions and views proceedings as politically motivated.

  • Active Investigations: Despite not being a member, the ICC's Pre-Trial Chamber has ruled it has jurisdiction over the situation in the State of Palestine, which includes actions by Israeli nationals in the West Bank and Gaza.

  • Arrest Warrants: In 2024, the ICC Pre-Trial Chamber issued warrants of arrest for Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Minister of Defence Yoav Gallant, for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity, rejecting challenges to its jurisdiction.

  • Significance of Non-Party Status: While Israel is not a member, this status does not prevent the court from exercising territorial jurisdiction if crimes are committed on the territory of a state party (Palestine).

You said, "What about?" and then cut and pasted several statements. That was not a question, but I will rephrase:

What happened when Israel gave Gaza back, which some would argue they have no right to occupy or have any influence on, was there peace at last?

I see the ICC as a farce and believe the U.N. has become largely ridiculous.

There will never be peace, while Israel runs Gaza and the West Bank as "Occupied Territories" they are both part of the State of Palestine, and should be left to there own people to govern.

So in your opinion who should police the atrocities committed on independent States by others, for whatever reasons?

Neither will there be peace as long as the State of Palestine is committing genocide on Jews and is working to eradicate Israel.

No but I find terms like "respect for international law" hilarious, there is no such thing

The ASEAN NOW forum members of course , but obviously only the ones who think the same as you

I think independent States, with the aid of their allies should fend for themselves.

Small countries making laws and attempting to make larger countries abide them.

The same can be said in reverse.

The State of Israel is committing Genocide on Palestinians and is working to eradicate Palestine.

The ICC has jurisdiction over all nations and all citizens. It makes not a fig of difference whether you accept their jurisdiction

If you mean “muzzer” in British slang it can mean a few things depending on context:

  • An insult meaning idiot / fool

1 hour ago, Yellowtail said:

The state of Palestine is not committing genocide.

You are talking nonsense. All they want is a two state peaceful solution.

Members who said similar things against Jews were banned from this forum. You seem to think you can do/say anything you like without consequences as you are superior.

And how many people, members of this forum or otherwise, have accused Jews of conducting terror attacks?

thousands of innocent people have been killed in muslim terror attacks that is a fact , mosquitos kill more people than any other animal on the planet both are indisputable facts devoid of prediudice or malice, If I get banned because of stating unpalatable truths so be it ,, but it won't be you doing the banning , it would not surprise me if you were to indulge in a bit of snitching though in an attempt to provoke such a ban
