Hang on, didn't we have the biggest empire in the world at one point?

In 1920 the British empire covered nearly a quarter of the world's land surface, ruling and colonising over 412 million people.

So what goes around, comes around, lol

Blimey, you've been reading too many romantic novels.

Colonists have been around for a millennia. Migrants are not colonists in that they haven't taken the reins of government.

Not yet. There's a long way to go till the Muslim population in the UK equals the native Brits.

Speaking of Muslims, which countries of theirs did we colonise or rule over?

Iraq, Palestine, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Egypt, Sudan, Somalia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India (largest Muslim population in the empire), Malaysia, Brunei, Maldives, Aden( Yemen), Oman.

I agree with control of migration, but regarding the view espoused by the right that Muslims don't integrate, I think the jury has to be out on this.

My reasoning is the Muslim children generally go to state schools and there they mix with whites and blacks, kids whose parents have come from all kinds of places.

These kids get on with each other, play with each other, so I can't see the girls growing up, prepared to stay at home like their parents did.

No way. They want jobs like anyone else.

Thus I think integration will occur as generations pass but state support should stop at 2 kids a Muslim family for everyone knows the birth rate is higher amongst Muslims.

Perhaps penalise Muslim families financially that have more than 2 children.

I think he really wanted to say invaded rather than colonised but couldn't quite bring himself to do it, fearing the backlash.

No need to wait for equality. When muslim populations reach about 15% during hijara, the country tends to become unstable.

What about some kind of apology regarding the Epstein scandal and those involved or covered up by the Uk govt ?

At least he has attempted a rather half-hearted apology! What a fool.

Not really an apology. He said he's sorry if anyone was offended. Not sorry about the message.

Either way, a mistake. Never apologize to leftists, even if it's only for offending them. It's never enough. Better to double down and offend them again.

He's a businessman so apologising (even half-heartedly) makes sense. His comments about Starmer and Farage were interesting!

Starmer said......"We've had free speech for a very, very long time in the United Kingdom, and it will last for a very, very long time,"

So then Starmer swiftly slammed these comments, from Ratcliffe, as "offensive and wrong," demanding an apology, doesn't add up.

Starmer was clearly lying in the Oval Office......SHOCK??cheesy

He always lies.

He should apologize for appointing a known associate of the world's most notorious Pedo who leaked state secrets and had already been sacked twice for scandals to the position of Ambassador. The clue was in the nickname Keir, "Prince of Darkness".

But no, he'd rather throw his mate McSweeney under the bus. With friends like Starmer, who needs enemies?

I disagree. He has FO money, he should apologize to nobody. I certainly wouldn't.

Starmer does not appear in the Epstein files, your mate Farage does.

Farage was mentioned in news articles and newsletters that others sent to Epstein. Hardly a fault of Farage.

Starmer on the other hand appointed Epstein's long standing bestie to be ambassador. 😄

He is a hipocrite, who used his platform at Manchester United to effectively campaign for Farage, because he knows that as one of the super rich he would directly benefit from a Reform government. He is not a private person. If he wanted to score political points, he should have at least checked his statistics which were patently inaccurate, if not deliberately fake. What is true is that in 2020, when he moved his fortune to Monaco and avoided paying the British state (which he professes to love) an estimated four billion pounds, hard-working immigrants contributed an estimated twenty billion to the British economy.

On LBC radio Ben Kentish show last night one of the topics was this billionaire’s outburst. A caller who represented (I think) “Kick Racism Out” absolutely nailed it: exposing the lies that Radcliffe spewed about UK population growth (12 million in 5 years “!!!

Look, it’s obvious that the moronic minority can’t wait to get Farridge into No. 10 but with cheerleaders such as this billionaire don’t be surprised if further scrutiny of this far right hyperbole works against this aim.
