It will be hard to tell the difference from a lot of the AI generated drivel being posted everywhere

Death isn't the end: Meta patented an AI that lets you keep posting from beyond the grave

The company was granted a patent in late December that outlines how a large language model can "simulate" a person's social media activity, such as responding to content posted by real people.

"The language model may be used for simulating the user when the user is absent from the social networking system, for example, when the user takes a long break or if the user is deceased," the patent says.

So not much different than now, as many members seem to be brain dead already coffee1

I've almost given up using YouTube because of the amount of AI slop purporting to be real. I particularly hate (with a vengeance) the AI narration, which IMHO completely ruins some documentary videos.

If you take the time to make the video part of the video, surely it's not too much trouble to record a human narration.

YT has no interest of course, in curtailing this slop. I've given up reporting AI videos of ferocious wild animals (polar bears, tigers etc), being 'rescued by concerned humans, who then cuddle the animal and receive a cuddle back. Complete <deleted> but they have millions of views!

Is there a YT equivalent website without AI slop?

Vimeo is a proffessional platform where you can watch for free, and have a free account, but you pay for a premium user.

This will allow you to call random people fascist from the grave.
