The U.N voted "Yes"

I didn't change anything , its completely the same

No, they did not. They voted to create a partition of two states and also for the right of return.

Your sort just loves to lie and bend the truth to suit yourselves. Not so interested in 'democracy' for when it comes to any of the other resolutions, are you?

The Question of Palestine and the General Assembly

The General Assembly is the main deliberative organ of the United Nations, composed of representatives of all Member States.  The question of Palestine was first brought before the General Assembly in 1947. By resolution 181 (II), the Assembly decided to partition Palestine into two states, one Arab and one Jewish, with Jerusalem placed under a special international regime. After the 1948 war, the Assembly by resolution 194 (III) of 1949 established the Conciliation Commission for Palestine (UNCCP) to help the parties reach a final settlement, while reaffirming the rights of Palestine refugees to return and restitution. UNRWA, a Palestine refugee agency, was established by the Assembly the same year.

In 1974, the question of Palestine was re-introduced in the Assembly’s agenda. Resolution 3236 (XXIX) reaffirmed the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination, national independence and sovereignty, and the right of the Palestinians to return to their homes and property. In 1975, the Assembly established the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People. The question of Palestine and related issues have been the subject of numerous resolutions and decisions adopted by the Assembly’s regular, special and emergency sessions.

On 29 November 2012 the Assembly granted Palestine non-member observer State status in the UN. The relevant issues on the agenda of the Assembly and its subsidiary organs, such as the Human Rights Council include the right of Palestinians to self-determination, their sovereignty over natural resources, assistance, refugees, IDPs, UNRWA, human rights, Israeli settlements, peaceful settlement of the question of Palestine, and Jerusalem, among others. In 2024 the Assembly demanded that Israel end its occupation in 12 month.

Yes, ONE of those states was Isreal .

So, the U.N voted for Israel to exist as a Country

U.N voted for Israel to exist as a Country is the truth .

We are both saying the same thing .

Or ARE YOU saying that the U.N didn't vote for Israel to exist in 1948 ?

Israels right to exist was decided democratically by the Whole World in a U.N vote

The plans for Israel were initiated in he late 1800s as the Suez Canal was being constructed.

On November 29, 1947, the UN General Assembly passed Resolution 181, recommending the partition of British-mandate Palestine into separate Jewish and Arab states, with Jerusalem under international control. While Jewish leaders accepted this plan, Arab leaders rejected it, leading to a civil war...

...

It was a solution to the problem of terrorism by the Zionists at the time.

If it weren't for the Jewish terrorists there would have been no vote at all.

You are mistaken. The U.K. government saw all its attempts to resolve the situation in Palestine fail and no longer wanted to bear the financial and military burden that came with administering Palestine as the Mandatory power. In February, 1947, the U.K. government informed the fledgling United Nations it would withdraw all civil servants and military troops from Palestine by Aug. 1, 1948.

The U.N. appointed a special committee to find the best course for Palestine's future. The committee came up with two proposals: the partition plan backed by the committee's majority and a minority plan which called for a federal state with Arab and Jewish areas. The U.N. General Assembly approved the partition plan, but the Arab League rejected it, so the plan couldn't be put into action. The U.K said its responsibility for Palestine would end at midnight on May 14, 1948, which was two-and-a-half-months earlier than first announced.

Ben Gurion and the other Zionist leaders took the opportunity to declare Israel's independence at midnight on May 14. That was 6.00 p.m. in Washington and the U.S. recognized the State of Israel 11 minutes later at 6.11 p.m.

Virtually all national governments at that time expected the Arab nations to take over all of the former Mandate of Palestine once the British were out. Even the U.S. government believed Israel couldn't stand against the armies of its Arab neighbors. The courage and determination of the Israeli people proved them wrong.

Again, you are wrong. The partition plan said nothing about a right of return. That was part of U.N. resolution passed in 1949. The source you cited said that (my color highlight).

@Purdey is referring to what's called the Khazar theory, a pseudoscience notion that European (Ashkenazi) Jews are the descendants of the Khazars, a Turkic semi-nomadic people, rather than the th

Hebrew tribes described in the Torah and Old Testament..

Here's what Google's AI Overview said when I ran the search "khazar theory debunked:"

"The Khazar theory, which claims Ashkenazi Jews are descendants of Turkic converts rather than ancient Israelites, is widely considered debunked by historians, linguists, and geneticists. Scientific studies confirm Ashkenazi Jews share a common Middle Eastern ancestry, with no significant genetic link to the Caucasus region." The AI engine added the highlight.

There is no real evidence to support the claim that Ashkenazi Jews descended from the Khazars and plenty of evidence their ancestors were the Jews of the Bible.
