What is the name of the restaurant? The owner deserves support and encouragement. The atrocities committed in Gaza over the last three years have shocked and deeply affected every decent human being around the world.

But beheading and raping babies on October 7th is fine in your book?

Those kids in Gaza are brought up from birth and indoctrinated by their mothers and the mosques to wage jihad.

Why do you think they are taught how to use automatic weapons from 5 years old and paraded proudly on TV?

They had nothing stolen; it was a desert wasteland, and there has never been a Palestine, but there has always been an Israel.

Why is this business getting flack? Here in Pattaya, Indians are discriminated against on WS and other businesses daily. What is the problem? Some Jewish tourists are very ugly with their behavior and I have no issues with this business refusing service.

But he didn't behave ugly, did he?

have you seen how the Jews act up in Thailand lately? They are not welcomed anywhere now because their behavior is above and beyond the usual <deleted> type of behavior.

All of them?

Or just some bad apples?

I met a fabulous couple, husband and wife, up in Chiang Mai. He was ex- military.

He didn't like the behavior of some of them and also didn't have much good to say about the ultra-Orthodox dodge drafters.

Why is the Hamas leadership living in luxury in Qatar?

Why are the Iranian generals holed up in five-star hotels in Lebanon?

Us pays for bombs dropped on Palestinian babies.

No doubt that all other things being equal, people would choose to go to an establishment that doesn't allow Israelis inside, than one that does. 🙂

Rubbish! I consider myself a decent person, but I'm neither shocked nor deeply affected.

I don't hear you wokies making a fuss about the many thousands of civilians killed in Myanmar. Speak up about them and I might start giving Gaza more thought.

Babies that turn into indoctrinated kids.

Can Israel help it if they store their bomb factories in schools and hospitals?

Fool. You think Hamas cares about any Palestinian cause?

And this is the size of it, ignored by the Wokies.

There are also a lot of us that don't care who enters an establishment, as long as it has what we're looking for.

Its good that you recognise one group has repeatedly had their land stolen and subjected to inhumane treatment over millennia:

722 BCE - The Neo-Assyrian Empire conquers the Kingdom of Israel and deports large parts of the Israelite population - the “Ten Lost Tribes”.

586 BCE - The Neo-Babylonian Empire destroys Jerusalem and deports Jews from the Kingdom of Judah during the Babylonian Exile.

70 CE - The Roman Empire destroys Jerusalem after the First Jewish–Roman War, killing and dispersing large parts of the Jewish population.

115–117 CE - Jewish communities across the Roman world are crushed during the Kitos War, causing further displacement.

135 CE - After the Bar Kokhba Revolt, Rome expels many Jews from Judea and renames the province Syria Palaestina to weaken Jewish identity with the land.

1099 CE - During the First Crusade, Crusaders capture Jerusalem and massacre or expel Jewish and Muslim inhabitants.

1929 - The 1929 Hebron Massacre results in the killing or expulsion of Jews from Hebron, ending a community that had existed there for centuries.

1936–1939 - During the 1936–1939 Arab revolt in Palestine, Jewish communities in several mixed towns are forced to evacuate due to violence.

1948 - During the 1948 Arab–Israeli War:

- Jews are expelled from the Old City of Jerusalem by Jordan.

- Jewish communities in Gush Etzion are destroyed and survivors expelled or captured.

1948–1970s - Roughly 850,000 Jews leave or are expelled from Arab states following Israel’s creation, including:

- Iraq, Egypt, Yemen, Libya, Morocco, Syria - Many of these refugees relocated to Israel.

I criticised discrimination - nothing more. The Israeli in question did nothing wrong; he was simply asked to leave a restaurant because he happened to be born in the wrong country. That is the definition of discrimination.

If the same thing happened to someone from Zimbabwe or India, you would be crying racism without hesitation. The pro-Palestine virtue signalling is charming in its way, but ultimately rather tiresome.

That said, I’m glad you’ve chosen to end the discussion. You seem committed to your current level of understanding, though it is admirable that you chose to speak out in the absense of knowledge, which makes It difficult for anyone to underestimate you.

For that reason it’s probably best I don’t engage in a battle of wits with someone so comprehensively unarmed. Though, purely out of curiosity as an observer - what exactly is your view on intelligence?

According to recent polling the majority of Americans disagree with you, and the vast majority of people worldwide disagree with you.

America is THE world's warmonger right now and Trump is THE war president.

And I say that as an American who is deeply ashamed of the behavior of the leadership of my once great country.

Well there are Jews and then there are Jews. Israeli Jews seem to be an entity unto their own and for some reason they seem to cause a lot of problems. I can't really hold them responsible for their nation's leaders but their nations leaders seem to be causing a lot of problems too, and I can understand why people would want to take their anger, frustration, disappointment and unhappiness out on them.

Chotiner-Gaza-Death-Toll.jpg

This is a slippery slope.

Those cheering this on aren't thinking it through,

You may be next.

Businesses should welcome all decently behaved customers regardless.

As some Israeli and other categories of tourists sometimes misbehave, ban those individuals not ALL.

A case in point.

Recently in the U.S. a yogurt shop employee kicked out a customer who was wearing a Trump maga fascist hoodie. She wasn't even the owner so she really didn't have the right to do that, but suppose it was the owner. He should have been served normally UNLESS he actually started misbehaving by harassing Mexicans or something like that.

The shop is located in an anti-maga fascist city so there is popular support for the banning, just as there might be popular support to ban Israelis from businesses in parts of Thailand.

That doesn't make it right, in either case!

Treat people like you want to be treated!

I'm skeptical of this story, at least the reporting of it. Take a look at this version:

Phuket Shop Owner Shouts ‘Allahu Akbar’

At Israeli Tourist In Viral Clip

...

In the video, the male tourist, wearing a black T-shirt and black shorts and believed by some viewers to be Israeli, is seen walking along a roadside in the Ban Bang Ma Lao area of Sakhu subdistrict in Thalang district.

As he passes a shop, a man believed to be the shop owner appears to shout at him in Thai, English and another foreign language, ordering him to leave. The shop owner is also heard shouting “Allahu Akbar” (“God is the Greatest”) in the clip.

https://www.khaosodenglish.com/news/2026/03/10/phuket-shop-owner-shouts-allahu-akbar-at-israeli-tourist-in-viral-clip/

In this version, it's a shopkeeper, not a restaurant owner, who yells at the tourist. The name given for the person who posted the video is Thai, but no profile shows up using the Facebook search bar for that name. Also, while it's possible a Thai Muslim could yell “Allahu Akbar,” it's unlikely. For an Arab to do so means he is calling out the passerby as a Jew.

So which was it? Thai shop owner; Arab shop owner; Thai restaurant owner; or Arab restaurant owner? For an Arab to harass a Jew is an everyday occurrence and has been for 1,400 years. It's no exactly news.

That maybe true Danny based on numbers killed and children killed by the the Govt, in Israel. Not from Jews that live in many many countries around the world. They have no say. They just want a normal life.

Danny who started that Gaza war?

On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood," a massive surprise attack on southern Israel from the Gaza Strip, involving rocket barrages, border breaches, and atrocities at several locations, including the

Nova music festival. Starting around 6:30 a.m. , militants entered Israeli towns, kibbutzim, and military bases, killing approximately 1,200 people (shooting burning babies and women included) and taking about 250 hostages with no reason to justify the this Jewish massacre except to say "kill the Jews". Besides this Jewish guy most likely does not live in Israel he could be from America, Australia etc etc. In short Danny I think you maybe an Islam follower and most likely believe in the Koran, Jihad and ISIS . Even if you are not your a Jew racist? They are human Danny just like you, me and the good Muslims.

Well, it'll probably be a wash between those who are attracted to them because of their actions vs. those who are repelled by it.

I think Israelis should understand that they can only approach Muslims in a tank. There are 40% Muslim residents in Phuket, and this guy clearly didn't arrive in a tank. He was clearly mistaken.

What are you saying? Muslims are among the most peaceful individuals in the world. Their values emphasize compassion and understanding, promoting harmony in communities.

An earnest plea to all board members who support Israel and the right of Jews to live securely in their homeland: please don't respond directly to any hate speech or antisemitic comments you encounter in this or any other thread. Report all rule-breaking posts to the Mods and let them deal with the situation.

Nothing you can write will make any difference to a hard-core Jew hater. You can't change their minds through intellectual argumentation. Instead, the goal is to have venomous, hate-dripping posts removed. That can only be done by an Admin or Mod.

When you encounter hate speech or antisemitic tropes straight out of the Middle Ages:

  • report, don't reply

  • report, don't reply
