The Pattaya sign

Featured Replies

How do I get up to that area where the Pattaya sign is up on that hill.

.I love the colours I wish they would be in rainbow colours though to reflect diversity

Can I get a Grab up there or can I walk ?

There is a park up there too isn't there with beautiful flowers

Walk/baht bus/motosai/bolt.

Up to you.

Follow the signs.

it is a common touristy place to visit.

Many methods of transport to get there.

To answer your question.

Walk - Yes you can.

Grab - Yes you can.

A real fairy would flap its wings and fly up there. The rest of us walk towards Jomtien from Bali Hai pier and keep going. You can climb the stairs on the left between the police boat buildings or walk along the road. Stay to the left after the curve where the insta- hos take selfies and you'll get to the sign.

Enter Phra Tamnak Road, if coming from Thappraya until you arrive at the Police Box on the left. Continue on down the hill until you reach a gate. Go through the gate and onwards up the hill until you reach the sign.

If from Jomtien Beach, then seaside promenade until Phra Tamnak Soi 5, then up the hill until Phra Tamnak Road and turn left. Continue until your reach the aforementioned gate...

Bit of an awkward walk. Maybe better for you to grab a Bolt bike.

Wear your gym clothes, there's an outdoor gym next to the coffee shop.

The gym has a great view of Pattaya's ghost tower

Make your way toward the sign by using a visual cue to ensure you stay on the right path.

Could you kindly provide a map that includes all the necessary GPS coordinates? It would greatly enhance our understanding and planning. Thank you!

It is referred to as the Pattaya sign.

Any ladyboy you find on the street will be happy to help you get up there. There's a place along the way at the bottom of the hill that's quite popular with them, too.

Take a look at Google Maps, shows you all the roads in that area.

That's a good suggestion.

Bring it up with the mayor at your next meeting when you discuss the findings of all the research you've been doing.

And .... is there anything more pointless than getting close to the Pattaya sign?

I heard (honest! 3rd party knowledge only), that the park is a notorious gay pick-up and action area.... I suspect that GG will enjoy this demonstration of sexual diversity!

Heard from whom? The dodgy area was many years ago near the Tourist Police station. I know as it is/was a popular exercise area for many. The sign is in another area.
